As much as I liked Andor season 2 I couldn't help but feel some whiplash with all the time jumps. Each jump made it feel like we were missing part of the story especially when it came to Bix it felt she was all over the place. After last season I expected to see her really dealing with the aftermath of the torture but she went from having bad dream and getting assaulted again or being on drugs and blowing a guy up to just being fine and pissing off with not much of an explanation as to how she got to each point. It just felt like we were skipping part of the characters story.
And it wasn't just Bix all we got of Cinta was Val hadn't seen her in a year and show up to knock a guy off to a another year later and Val still hasn't seen her and something we don't know about happened to her and she need to recover to dead. And after the seconded ark it seemed like Wilmon was going to stay with Saw but in the next ark he's just on Yavin with the rest of them (which we did find out how they all got there) and still working with Luthen.
I don't know maybe this is me being a bitter rebelcaptin shipper but wanted Bix to be more then just a motivation for Cassian. Like I wanted to see her be really effected form the torture, I wanted to see if she would go full hog in to the rebellion or be permanently damaged from it or would it what makes her walk away. Instead she was mostly just waiting at home. She was the mechanic why could she be the one to work on that machine for Saw? They could of been really interesting with Bix and show the effect of war with her and the choices that get made in it but she just ended up a trope that's been done how many times already in Star Wars? She just could of been more.
