Something sexy… Being the lawyer of Tony Stark and the father of two boys (who are new to New York and still trying to acclimate) keeps Loki pretty busy and with little time to see his hot teacher boyfriend, who has a little girl of his own. At one point they go for a bit without being able to see each other and barely being able to speak on the phone.
Loki gets home late one night and miraculously, Bucky is able to get him on the phone. They talk for a bit and Bucky suggests Loki take a hot bath to relax. And call him back when he’s settled in the tub on a video call. 😏 Use your imagination for what happens next.
As for sweet: when Narfi and Valí first come to New York, it takes a while for them to adjust to the schools, to city life, and to Loki. Narfi, the oldest, is a little standoffish with Loki at first (understandably, when you read the whole story!). Valí isn’t as hesitant with Loki and one night, after they’d been in NYC for a few months, he goes to Loki’s bedroom and asks him to read to him (he’s in the middle of Matilda). Loki does and at one point Valí asks why some parents are so mean. It leads to him asking Loki about Sigyn (his mom) and he tells Loki some things that Sigyn used to tell them about Loki.
During the discussion, Valí confesses he wished he had black hair like Narfi and Loki — he has red-gold hair like Sigyn. Loki asked why and Valí said because boys with ginger hair get picked on a lot. So, Loki leans in like he’s gonna tell him a secret and confesses he wished he had red hair like Valí and Sigyn.
It’s a nod, of course, to mythological Loki, who is usually depicted with red hair. But also just a sweet moment between Loki and Valí. And the entire conversation leads to other revelations and realizations for Loki about his sons.
