I decided to make some moodboards for my D&D party. They’re the first ones I’ve ever made so I hope you like them.

Someone asked me a little snippet about the DnD comic I'm working on. This is the very first art I made about the two protagonists. It's 4 years old now, so it’s a bit clunky and the composition is a bit flat... I’ve only repainted it a little bit to update the design. I still thought it would be a nice way to introduce the characters to my new followers who haven't met them yet. From left, Valanthe, she's an elf rogue, she's pretty, confident and swift. Then there's my unsociable hot-tempered sylvan druid Aiwendil with his eagle Ea. The two will have to put aside their differences and their rocky history, and travel together to find out a dangerous secret that is threatening the whole forest... "In the region called Tarkhald there was a great forest, which took the name of "Mit-Fostle", that, in the language of Men, means "between the rivers". As a matter of fact, the luxuriant and intricate forest spread in the west of the region, between the Nero river on the North, and the Sol river on the South, and, in the shade of its verdant trees, lived a great variety of the most beautiful creatures. Secluded in the depth of the forest, unreachable for whoever didn't know the way, many villages of Elves fluorished in peace and harmony..."

Things my druid has done lately

- crit failed a perception roll trying to listen for sound behind a door, and instead slammed my fucking head into said door

- acquired a magic spear, conveniently housing the essence of an ancient evil elder vampire that wants to get out and will grow stronger as i use the spear

- saved 3 party members from taking potentially fatal damage from a dragon’s poison breath by readying gust of wind

- attempted to cock block a party companion from making a baby with a banshee, pissing off said banshee and thus forcing said party member to make the baby ANYWAY in order to save our lives

- had a conversation with a warhorse about braiding

- saw the ocean for the first time, and, while exploring in the form of a dolphin, disturbed a god damn fucking kraken that then attacked their entire party during their beach day (we killed it tho)
