2 Years!

Today is two years since I started to post my little story about Beren, now called The Brights, over on Twitter, and I started to post it over here a little less than a year ago.

I could never have imagine that it would become something so intricate, and then we haven't even gotten to most of the bigger things that I planned before I even started with the story!

Here's a little summary of the past year, with one picture from each of the 21 chapters (chapter 15-36) that I posted this year.

And I hope there will be many more chapters, because I love to play with these sims 🥺

While Valeria spent her early years with her mother's family in Japan, she left with her mom and dad to travel the world for her father's research work when she was still young. They haven't stopped moving since! Thankfully, she's kept in contact with her best friend, Emiko Mori! Now that she's an adult, she needs to figure out what to do with her life: adventure, explore her father's Venezuelan heritage, or take on a new challenge?

I don't have nearly enough CC clothes with shoulder pads. Such a vibe? And it works on her. She looks like a lesbian who plays the drums in a punk-rock all-girl garage band. And she contrasts with Emiko Mori super well.

“Whatever you’re doing, it ends NOW, you hear me?” Valeria states sternly as she stands right in front of Ajax. “You have no business being around my daughter, ESPECIALLY here alone!” 

Roselyn lets out a groan. This obviously isn’t the first time something like this has happened, Ajax observes. He really wishes he could just go invisible right now. “MOM, seriously?! Don’t-”

“I don’t need YOU influencing her into doing whatever it is that boys like you do these days!” She jabs her finger into Ajax’s chest, accusingly, and completely ignores her daughter’s cries. 

“I can assure you, Miss Lopez, nothing like that is happening.” He remains calm. He isn’t sure though if him being calm will either help the situation or just make her even angrier. 

Valeria lets out a heavy sigh and shakes her head in disapproval. “I swear, letting you be friends with those two girls was a mistake. You don’t have time for this, Roselyn! Not with graduation so close! You should know better than this!” 

Rose swallows a lump in her throat hard, and it looks like she’s on the verge of tears from both embarrassment and frustration. “Mom, its not like that.. why won’t you listen to me-”
