He was shaking when he had made the phone call, thankful he had remembered the number and not lost it among the 'noise' that had overpowered him and caused him to flee. That was a day and a half ago.

Now here the hybrid sat, on his niece's doorstep. He was shaking and shivering with the cold, having gotten caught up in a rainstorm on the way. His glow was dim and he felt weak, barely being able to stand on his feet, but Newt was finally back where he realized he belonged.

And so, he boldly reached out and knocked on the door.
