The Start of Something New

For au day of Valgrace Week, I humbly present the first chapter of my High School Musical AU :)

Jason Grace is the star of the basketball team. Leo Valdez is the school's new freaky genius kid. The unusually polarized social landscape of East High seems determined to keep them apart, but the two of them are drawn to each other by their shared love of music, and together they discover more about themselves—who they are, and what they truly want—than they ever could have imagined.

Yeah it's just High School Musical but make it Valgrace. Prepare for fun & shenanigans!

Hi! I asked if some people would be interested in doing a valgrace week again, and like 2 or 3 said they were up to it!!! So here's the dates and prompts:

July 2nd: AU (alternate universe)

July 3rd: Camp or Home

July 4th: Death

July 5th: Firsts or Lasts

July 6th: Free Day (whatever you want!)

July 7th: Parents / Leo's Birthday

Is there going to be an AO3 collection for Valgrace week?

yeah, there always is. a new sub collection gets added for the year specifically, despite the fact that there's only like. 10 fics per year 💀 I've been thinking about doing away with the sub collection but idk

there always is. the parent collection has all the previous works from the past years. if someone doesn't add a fic themselves then I'd probably add it later if their settings allow auto collection
