🗡 Vali was Odin’s youngest son, he reached maturity on the day of hs birth and killed Hodr, thus avenging the death of Baldr. He survived Ragnarok, representing new hope and justice.

The Blot is a sacrificial feast, and in this case, celebrates remembrance, justice and vengeance. Some asatru do incorporate the love and affection offered on this holiday, though it doesmake sense, since vengeance comes from broken love and remembrance is for those we shared passion with.
