i know i'm in amalia brain today but let me just talk about valiane flower symbolism because i'm going mad over this:
ok i admit that i first thought of amaryllis for valiane because of the shinedown song but looking into the double meaning of the flower it fits her so well. one of its meanings is pride and determination and the other is reluctant timidity. and wow, that fits so well with the duality of vali in and out of a long-term relationship.

🍓 for valiane!!!!!!!!!!
she takes rejection pretty well. of course she’ll appear to push back, because she tends to do that, but if someone refuses to help her or declines an offer, she’ll find a way to do it herself or get someone else without becoming fixated on why that person won’t help her.
12 from the hard questions ask for: Valiane, Elurah and your new prophet?
12. If someone else stole something and you stole it back is that a good deed, a bad deed, or one of equal worth? Are you better than the original thief?
Valiane
"To get an item stolen is an oversight on the victim's part no matter who was the instigator, and that's it. It is idiotic to believe that you'll have some sort of moral superiority if you are the one stealing, especially if done in retaliation. To do so is either an act of revenge or simple utility, and neither is virtuous enough to consider it a 'good deed.'"
Elurah
"If you manage to get the thing back, good on you! It's your right to get it, if it was really stolen. You're not better than the thief, but you're damn near close."
Amalia
"I mean, if you want it, go and get it. I won't stop you, but don't think you're making a good decision doing so. It's better to use it as evidence for stealing rather than let it be used against you in the end. Again, it's not a bad thing to do, but it's very far from good either. There's very little value judgement from this."
For the oc interview: #4?
4. You have a secret you swore not to reveal. But this secret is the only thing that would prove your innocence in a separate matter. Is it worth risking your own well-being for that secret? Or would you betray the trust given to you?
"I would reveal the secret without second thought. As long as I am equipped to face the consequences of betraying trust with this person, I would tell the secret. My own well-being is more important than someone else's petty thought that they were foolish enough to share with me."
