ok i know its been said before but its one of my ultimate pet peeves & i just have to get this off my chest
if the usually well-read and higher-educated alt-lefts truly believe in their left-wing values they should make their discourse accessible to the lower-educated and those of different abilities who may not have read the communist manifesto but being the demographic they are they surely have something valuable to contribute to the conversation....discourse that excludes those who havent read the Essential Texts is classist and racist and ableist.
if someone truly believes in intersectionality they will involve people who may not understand their Big Words
and its not too far-reaching to say that many alt-lefts look down on ppl who are lesser educated about the same topics that they are......its a left-wing paradox that so many of them are classist racist ableist in this way
like don’t get me started on the alt-left elitism complex where someone only has value if they have enough money and time to spend on their Image (assuming they have an ‘aesthetic enough’ facial and body structure as well) to be as alt-presenting & ‘aesthetic’ as u are
don’t know if this is a universal thing or if alt-psuedointellectualism and alt-elitism only plagues the Alt Communities I’m Adjacent To
