It's an ancient settlement where you can find oases of peace and relaxation studded with colourful murals, each depicting people going about their daily lives.⁣ ⁣ I enjoyed observing these murals painted on front doors, stone walls and archways so much that I've included a small selection of them in this post.⁣ ⁣ For me, they're not only beautiful paintings; they're also a symbol of solidarity, togetherness and community spirit. Italian border towns summit, 'we are not a transit center'

The mayors of Ventimiglia, Vallecrosia and Camporosso, towns in Liguria near the border with France, expressed their refusal to open a new transit center for migrants in their areas, a proposal promoted by the Italian interior ministry.

Scuola chiusa, la Liguria si unisce a Ferrara nella protesta contro le suore | estense.com Ferrara

Lo smacco e lo sdegno dei genitori in seguito alla chiusura improvvisa della scuola paritaria San Benedetto in via Borgo di Sotto, gestita dalla compagnia delle Suore della Carità di San Vincenzo De' Paoli, ha varcato i confini regionali. E' infatti nella stessa data - del 7 gennaio - che anche la Scuola Sant'Anna di Vallecrosia, in provincia di Imperia, ha ricevuto il medesimo ultimatum da parte della stessa congregazione. E "se a Ferrara in difficoltà ci vanno 41 famiglie, da noi ci sono 250 anime", riporta la rappresentante Vanessa Crivelli, che spiega come "da noi sia impossibile smistare nella stessa città un tale numero di bambini", la maggior parte dei quali sarebbero costretti a dislocarsi a distanze sensibilmente diverse. Ecco i due meravigliosi bolidi di #Polizia e#Carabinieri destinati al trasporto di Organi. Si tratta della Lotus Cars Evora S da 350 CV e della Lamborghini HURACÁN dotata di motore V10 aspirato da 610 CV con 4 ruote motrici. Due supercar che sono state (nel caso della Lotus) e sono (nel caso della Lamborghini) invitate a presidiare le strade italiane.
