They were strolling through the park, Ry pushing the pram as he would smile over at Belle every now and then. He once never thought that an ancient vampire like him would be able to have a child and how he has one with the woman he had actually fallen for. When he realized that Belle was holding his hand gently, he leaned over and gave he a chaste kiss on the lips.

Ry stared at Belle for several minutes, not believing what he had heard. She was supposedly scheduled to have the baby in about a week, but her water broke and now they were waiting for her to be fully dilated. However, a soft smile appeared on his face.

“Yes... I will marry you but neither of us has a ring just yet. However, do you want to do a quick ceremony before the baby decides its time to arrive? There is a priest here,” The vampire shuddered at the word, “... that can perform the rite”

When Ryan came home, he saw Belle sleeping on the sofa at an angle he knew would cause her neck a lot of pain. Carefully, he picked her up and carried her bridal style over to the bedroom and laid her in the bed gently. As soon as her eyes opened, the vampire took her wrist and kissed her on the pulse point there.

“Have you been overworking yourself yet again?” he asked, affection showing in his hazel eyes. “You are very pregnant and shouldn’t do too much.” I’m also so very worried about you was the unspoken thought.

Belle heard the shout from the front door of their apartment and grinned.

“You’re a life saver!” she called back, standing up slowly, her growing stomach causing movements to be rather difficult. “Did you get the caramel sauce?”

Ry chuckled as he placed the bag on the table, pulling out the ice cream and the much desired bottle of caramel sauce. The woman had interesting tastes while being pregnant.

The vampire then helped Belle over to the table and made sure that she was comfortable in the chair at the table. “Of course I did, darling. Do you think I want to face a pregnant woman’s wrath?” he chuckled as he got a dish and a scoop for the ice cream.
