9. How did you get into writing fanfiction?

I had to scrape my brain to remember, since I almost said it was in 2011 on Tumblr but it was actually the mid-2000s on Youtube lol. I wouldn't have referred to it as fanfiction then, since no one else was calling it that in that tiny bubble, but that's definitely what set it off. It honestly was such a vibe too. I have a friend from that era still who I reference it with a lot in a very nostalgic way

17. What is something you recently felt proud of in your writing?

Well just last week I hit 100k words on ao3, which I think is something to be proud of. I had a conversation with someone last summer that included me saying I wish I had stuck with writing, since I loved it for years. I never felt like 10+ years ago that my work was as good as or comparable to anyone else I knew who was sharing ff (hence why I rarely shared it), but I finally feel like I can read my own work back and be like "this is pretty decent" which rules

23. What's a story you'd love to write but haven't even started yet?

I'm using "haven't even started yet" loosely here, since I did start to outline this one... but, a few months ago I was rewatching the show Russian Doll with Natasha Lyonne and was like "an AU based kind of off this like soulmates-who-keep-dying-and-finding-each-other narrative could be cool". That's not completely what the show is about, and if anyone reading this hasn't watched it I highly recommend you do (it's on Netflix in the US — not sure about anywhere else). The first season is incredible, and the second season I think is even better
