With Doc and Mumbo being friends in Songbird’s Blood AU, has Doc ever met Grum and Jrum?

yes, he has!!! he was the one mumbo went to when grum and jrum were close to death. mumbo went to him hoping doc could save them.

doc ultimately told him that the only way they could be saved was if they become vampires.

after that he definitely comes around to mumbo’s mansion to see grum & jrum. he kind of becomes their uncle <3

And here is the first chapter. Yay. Tags do hurt though...

In a certain forest, there was a castle. At the first sight, it was just a normal castle built with dark bricks. With all the shutters shut tightly and dark curtains covering the windows. During the day it was quiet. Not a bird could be heard. All wildlife taking a longer way around the seemingly abandoned residence. In reality, it was far from being abandoned. The castle was the residence of a group of seven vampires and occasionally their special friends. Well. Not all of the residents had a special friend like that. Keralis and Mumbo were, in human terms, single, and had little to do when their friends had company over - most commonly concentrated on one specific week of a month.

Castle Full of Vampires - Doc and Ren

I’ll be posting ‘character file’ style things for it over the next few days while I settle with the ideas. I’ll limit the tags cuz spoilers.

Here are Doc & Ren

The first chapter will be out on Sunday along with last one of these info sheet thingies.

Name: Doc M.

Race: Vampire

Age: Around 35, turned about 273 years ago

Turned by: refuses to talk about it

Powers: Vampire skills - transformation, increased speed and reflexes, enhanced senses - hearing, smell, vision

Other - alchemist

Weaknesses: Ren's puppy eyes - the only thing that can interrupt his experiments

Likes: playing on organs, petting Ren, playing with Ren's hair, experiments

Dislikes: disorganisation, inefficiency, playing chess with X,

Appearance.

tall on the buff side, dark hair, one dark grey eye, other red. Left side of his face and his left arm still carry scars of one time got burned by the sun. Wears white long coats - sometimes ditching wearing a shirt under it. Quite handsome, Ren certainly says so to anyone willing to ask, his brother is very annoyed with it. And wondering what his brother sees ina grumpy, not so friendly vampire.

Powers: enhanced senses, strength, reflexes, speed

Weaknesses: full moon,

Likes: Doc, running in the woods, long naps, Doc playing with his hair,

Dislikes: Doc not paying him attention

Appearance.

handsome, kind and friendly werewolf, a slight (fair) bit shorter than Doc. Wears loose and comfy clothes. When visiting often ends up wearing Doc's stuff. And letting Doc brush and take care of his hair - something he usually didn't feel like doing, just letting it grow into a long and wild mane of surprisingly soft brown hair.
