And here is the first chapter. Yay. Tags do hurt though...
In a certain forest, there was a castle. At the first sight, it was just a normal castle built with dark bricks. With all the shutters shut tightly and dark curtains covering the windows. During the day it was quiet. Not a bird could be heard. All wildlife taking a longer way around the seemingly abandoned residence. In reality, it was far from being abandoned. The castle was the residence of a group of seven vampires and occasionally their special friends. Well. Not all of the residents had a special friend like that. Keralis and Mumbo were, in human terms, single, and had little to do when their friends had company over - most commonly concentrated on one specific week of a month.
During Halloween of ‘18, the ConVex altered the Tango and Cub statues in the shopping district of Season 6 of Hermitcraft. Tango was ‘Merged with the golems themselves’ as Cub put it, while Cub was ‘looking a little pale’. Little do the ConVex know that by using their magic on these statues, it actually changed Tango and Cub, turning them into an iron golem and a vampire respectively. And to this day, the statues have never been returned to their original form...
A little fragment I cut from the story (changed it into something I felt fit a bit better).
Inside was purposely dark and Scar could only see very little, quickly closing the door just in case. "Cub? Will it be okay if I get some lights here?" he asked, looking vaguely where the bed was.
"I think so," came a shaky response.
Scar nodded and snapped his fingers getting one of the lanterns on, worried Cub wouldn't do too well with bright lights. "How are you feeling?" the sorcerer asked.
Cub was curled up on the bed. Shaking slightly. Paler than ever but otherwise seemed healthy - if you ignore lack of breath and heartbeat, that is.
"Better? I'm not breathing and all that 'alive' stuff but it's not like I could breathe all that well anyway," the newborn vampire joked. "Damn… Scar should you really be here I'm…"
"I know," Scar smiled reassuringly, slowly approaching the bed. "Cub?" he asked as his friend tried to move further into the corner he was already in. "It's okay, I know you're hungry," Scar assured, opening up his shirt to expose his neck. "I can keep myself safe, don't worry."
"Scar… Do you… are you sure?" Cub asked. Ever so slowly crawling closer to the sorcerer. Scar nodded, angling his head to one side.
"I trust you," he said as Cub just sat there, uncertain what to do.
"Yeah, but what if I don't trust myself?" Cub sighed, but moved closer.
"Just bite me, my neck is starting to hurt a little here," Scar chuckled, dropping his shirt even further down, opening only couple more buttons.
"If you're so sure…" Cub sighed and pulled Scar back. Quickly straddling his lap. Face in the sorcerer's neck. The smell almost making him give up on the desire to bury his new fangs in the pale neck. "You smell so good...
