So I'm trying the Vampire Mod for Fallout 4

The mod is so dense and detailed the description page on NExus is a freaking novel. That's fucking rad. I love this stuff, I love the passion fucking dope.

Like it's been updated since I first used it. They've added tons of different classes, and factions and each type of vampire you can become has perks and you burst into flames if you're in the sun, but not in the shade. You have to wear things so as not to freak people out. It's really deep, really robust, and really really detailed. Made by a real vampire nerd. I just...one problem. Big problem: I can't fucking drink anyone's blood. You can't heal without drinking blood. Stimpaks work, but are lessened. So you have to feed once you're a vampire. You can use blood packs, but...you can already do that with the base game? So like it comes down to: can you feed on people in or out of combat? I initially caught the meat vampire strain, which I guess is like...the hannibal/Nic Cage Dracula from Renfield type thing? I can mesmerize people and throw them to the ground and "feed" or I can feed on the corpses. Which is the only real way to feed and heal. But like that's JUST the cannibal perk. You throw people to the ground and chomp on them and then it starts talking about cooking people and it's like: This is cool for a cannibal role play, if thats what you want to do. But I'm trying to like, be a vampire mom like this is JUST the Cannibal perk with extra steps.

So I spent all day this morning trying to re-create my character but get a different "strain" of vampire that isn't meat eating. And it worked, except I can't seem to feed on anyone. I only have so many bloodpacks so healing suddenly is way harder. Like, when I hit people a button prompt comes up to feed, but i can't press it quick enough or it doesn't respond. I can't mesmerize them as this vampire type I guess, so they won't stand still and let me feed. . And I keep killing people in combat trying to figure this out. Once they are dead, I can't feed on dead people unlike the meat vampire thing, which is cool. But like, it also means I can't fucking heal worth a shit in combat. I want to be a fucking VAMPIRE and like drink blood, have fucked up eyes, burn in the sun... I want to role play a vampire and that's kinda fucking hard, to do, it's kind a hard to play the game, if you're supposed to drink blood from people and you don't know how, or just fucking can't. Like, how is this such a good, detailed well put together mod with all these vampire mechanics. And yet you can't do, the one thing Vampires are supposed to fucking do?

It's like a BDSM mod where you can't figure out how to fuck anybody.

I spent five hours on a new character, a dunmer dark elf vampire, just to play this mod on Xbox One, right. Got all the way through the Dawnguard thing to get to Lord Harkon's castle and then he just kills me.

TL;DR: Mod didn't work. I died.

I did SO MUCH.

Now I'ma start over.

Also, need an idea for a roleplay with Loki as my husband in-game.

Loki Follower Mod is my plan.
