In the Dracula au with anakin being obiwan’s retainer can we see the vampire who arrives in town be Padme the queen of naboo’s vampire population be interested in the locals and their wares because it’s a rare chance to see goods not made by naboo’s populace. With anakin being attracted to Padme due to her kindness and beauty. Meanwhile obiwan is just happy that his brother might find a decent wife and he might get nieces and nephews.

There was a glittering in ever changing blue-green eyes that could easily be spotted, even by those, who did not know the youngest of the noble vampires on this planet. 

Obi-Wan was watching his retainer, guardian, friend, brother and whatever else Anakin Skywalker had become during the many years they have spend together, with happiness in his heart. It was the kind of feeling that he rarely experienced in the dark time they were currently in. He could even overlook the drastic break in protocol for this feeling and for seeing Anakin so content and merry. Instead of introducing herself, the queen had openly approached the blonde, had taken his arm and had started to walk with him through the streets. All the while, she had completely overlooked Obi-Wan.

“The young Lord is different than we thought,” whispered one of the many handmaidens that Padme, the queen of the vampire populated planet Naboo, had brought with her. 

“Oh?” Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow.

“Yes,” Sabe, as she was called, smiled at him. “We had imagined him to be more… stuck-up and loving of traditions. We certainly did not think him to be so open and friendly.”

“Indeed,” the redhead was amused.

“Also, he is a living legend in ours midst. After all, he is one of the few vampires that were actually BORN.” She shook her head in amazement and Obi-Wan had to give his hardest to hide the amused grin that was threatening to appear on his bearded features. “But enough of that. He seems to know this little town and its merchandise very well.”

“Well, of course he does.” He straightened his back and fixated a point far in the distance while walking. “Anakin used to be a young human boy, who lived with his… vampire hating mother in this very town. It would surprise me, if he did not know every street and every booth by heart.”

“Wait… what?”

Now Obi-Wan could not help but snicker and he stopped walking, causing Anakin to stop mid-step as well. Padme was sending him a confused look. “Obi-Wan, son of Qui-Gon Jinn, grandson of Yan Dooku. Lastest heir of the Dracula dynasty, at your service.”

Padme’s eyes went wide, so did Sabe’s. “You… you are… but I thought…” her eyes traveled to the smirking Anakin.

“And this is my personal guard, as well as my brother in all but blood, Anakin Skywalker.”

“At your service, my lady.”

“Padme Amidala,” introduced the queen herself finally and her curtsy was lower than it actually had to be. She was trying to be apologetic, realized Obi-Wan.

“But please,” spoke the redhead, “don’t let me interrupt your conversation. Go on, we will follow.” He motioned towards Anakin and with a shy smile, did Padme take the offered arm of the blond vampire.

Meanwhile Obi-Wan could already see himself spoiling his future nephews and nieces…

So in the daybreaker au can we have padme’s reaction to satine being a first generation vampire with obiwan tagging along to meet satine’s old friend? With padme being impressed but a little scared of obiwan because first generation vampire’s have a rep?

Padme was nervous and it was showing. Even the friendly elderly woman at the table across from her, had noticed that something was wrong. In fact the grey haired female had already came to Padme’s table, to ask if everything was alright. Of course the female Jedi has said that she was feeling fine and that she was just waiting for a friend she had not seen in a long time. From the way the human had looked at her, it had become clear that her lie had been detected as such. Thankfully however, the elderly woman had left it at that and returned to her table and her tea, so that Padme could try to calm ner nerves.

Of course she had already heard from her good friend what had happened between her and… Obi-Wan, whatever he was to Satine now. And the blonde vampire had asked to meet in their usual cafe. That in itself was no reason to be nervous, but the fact that she would bring her lover with her, a FIRST GENERATION vampire, was scary. After all, their kind was known to eat and consume their own kind in order to get stronger and more powerful.

“Padme!” an all too familiar voice called out and the brunette immediately turned around. A huge grin was plastered on her friend’s face as she came running towards the table and Padme just could not help herself. She stood up and engulfed Satine, only to freeze in shock, as she felt her friend’s different aura.

With wide and round eyes, did she pull back from the slightly confused Satine. “Is everything alright?” there was genuinely worry in her voice.

“You feel… different,” answered Padme hesitantly.

“Oh,” Satine awkwardly cleared her throat. “This might be Obi-Wan’s fault, speaking of which,” she turned and gestured for the ginger haired male, who had silently and patiently watched them from a few feet away, to come closer.

Padme watched the man closely. He looked well groomed and he made a decent appearance, but you should never judge a book by its cover, she had learned that very early in her life.

“Obi-Wan, I would like you to meet my best friend, Padme Amidala. Padme, may I introduce to you, my new boyfriend, Obi-Wan Kenobi.”

“It is a pleasure,” his smile was honest and quite charming, is Padme was being honest, but the brunette was not stupid enough to immediately fall for it. Nevertheless, she took the older vampire’s hand and she immediately took notice of the strength in it.

“Indeed,” she smiled and quickly sat back down, not sure if she would be able to stay for much longer. The old woman was still sending her worried looks, but Padme ignored them. “So… you are a couple now…”

Sorry I messed up on my last ask. In the daybreaker au can we have padme meet awkward human anakin who is really shy due to her beauty and kindness. With him attempting to get her number and padme pities him going on a date with him.

“Anakin,” Padme sighed, while following her boyfriend, lover, mate… whatever you wanted to call it, over the mostly broken stones to an old and scabby looking house. It undoubtedly was a very beautiful estate once, but now it reminded her more of a ruin.

“What? I’m a vampire, Padme. How could I NOT have the coolest and scariest house in the neighborhood?” He asked with such a surety in his voice, she could not help but laugh.

Had anyone told her that she would one day end up in a serious relationship with the blond, so serious that they were now moving in together in a house that the man had gotten rather cheap - she now knew why - she would have asked after their sanity. It was not like Anakin was not a great and very loving man, but at the beginning he had been a overly shy and awkward human being. And without Obi-Wan, her best friend’s mate, she never would have met the poor male in the first place. She could remember their meeting as if it were just yesterday.

“Satine, tell me again, why you are dragging me with you, on your date with Obi-Wan?” it was not like she did not like the ginger haired male, quite the opposite actually, he was very nice, but she did not want to feel like the third wheel.

“I told you, his adopted brother is in town and he would feel bad to spent the evening with either one of us,” the blond vampire patiently explained. “Besides, Obi-Wan tells me that his brother is nice and even if he turns out to NOT be your type, you might enjoy yourself nevertheless.”

A sigh escaped the brunette. “Very well.” She had no right to complain, not after Satine had answered so many of her calls and helped her through so much, through a lot of broken relationships as well.

“Thank you,” the two females hugged, but parted soon again, they were already late and they did not want to let their dates wait any longer.

In truth, Padme was very curious about this brother. Would he turn out to be just like Obi-Wan, the man was almost too much of a gentleman for her tastes, but Satine liked being treated like she was something very special.

When they had finally reached the restaurant, their dates were already waiting. Obi-Wan was wearing a two-colored vest waistcoat - black and grey - over a white shirt. His blue jeans were stylish too. His companion, a taller man with long blond hair, was actually wearing a black suit. He was just slightly overdressed, but the worst about it was, that he looked completely uncomfortable in his clothes.

“Obi-Wan,” Satine yelled and ran the last few metres, before stopping in her lover’s arms, pressing a kiss onto his smiling mouth.

Padme was less enthusiastic. She slowly walked towards the kissing pair, fully aware of the blue eyes that were staring at her with awe. She felt just a littel flattered at the reaction.

“Ah, Padme,” Obi-Wan said. He briefly stepped closer, pushing a small kiss on her left cheek in greeting. “May I introduce you to my brother, Anakin Skywalker. Ani, this is Padme Amidala, the one I and Satine told you about.”

“N…nice to meet you,” he held out his hand stiffly.

Padme hesitated for only a brief moment, then she shook it. She was surprised to find out that this Anakin was a human, there was not the slightest trace of vampire on or in him.

“Yeah,” she agreed.

“Shall we?” asked Obi-Wan. Satine nodded and as the gentleman that he was, he offered his partner his arm, which the female vampire immediately took. They left Anakin and Padme standing rather awkwardly. Anakin had obviously no idea, if he should offer his arm as well, or if it was better not to. Padme eventually decided to take the initiative and she was pleasantly surprised that he had at least thought of holding open the door for her.

Dinner was an even worse affair. The blonde kept stuttering, often nonsense, he was always blushing furiously and the worst part was, when he had accidentally ruined Padme’s new skirt. He had babbled what felt like a thousand apologies and he had even wanted to pay the bill for the laundry, of course the brunette had refused. It was no surprise that he did not ask for her number a second time, he had done so before the dinner and she had told him that she would see where their blind date would go and decide then.

It was then that she had decided to take pity on the poor man and she had given him a second chance, preferably one without Obi-Wan and Satine, who had tried their best to make them both feel comfortable with each other and preferably not in a fancy restaurant.

“So… what do you think?” the blonde stood with his arms on his hips and he looked both very proud and very pleased, both with himself and their new home.

“It’s beautiful,” Padme stepped at the side of the mal vampire. Obi-Wan had bitten him  after Padme had requested it of her lover, which meant that Anakin was now a vampire of the second generation, weaker than Obi-Wan and Satine, but stronger than Padme.

“I knew you would like it,” she smiled brilliantly and laid an arm over her shoulder, pulling her close.

To any outsider, it would have completely normal. Two woman sitting in a cafe, across from each other, talking and joking around. It looked completely normal, which is why no one on particular gave them any special attention and why no one listened into their conversation in the first place. It was the perfect cover, hiding in plain sight, which they had done for hundreds of years, without being detected. Some things, just never changed.

“And have you seen his face?” the brunette laughed, she was repeatedly wiping at her eyes with her handkerchief, trying to stop her eyeliner from smearing.

“I know,” the blonde joined into her friend’s merry laughter.

“We totally have to do this more often,” Padme finally put her handkerchief back into her pocket.

Satine nodded and smiled. It was true, hunting for food was usually much more fun if her friend was with her. It was not as easy, not when she couldn’t pretend to be a scared and lonely woman, but which mortal could withstand the combined charm and skill of two female vampires?

“Then again, I heard that your new… boyfriend,” she raised an elegant eyebrow, “is bringing you food now.” 

Before Satine could answer, did the waiter arrive with their order. He places a cup of mint tea in front of Satine and a cappuccino in front of Padme. “Can I do anything else for you?” asked the man. The smile on his features was obviously fake, so was the joyful tone of his voice.

“No thank you,” Padme returned the smile and after the waiter had inclined his head, he vanished back inside the small cafe.

“He gets crankier every time,” the blonde puller her jacket tighter around her frame. The days were beginning to get colder and even a vampire felt it, at least she did.

“He does, but don’t stray from the topic,” she took the cup between her hands. 

Satine awkwardly cleared her throat, looking anywhere but at her friend. “Well, Obi-Wan is very thoughtful and he DOES bring me his catch every now and then.”

“I knew it. Also, do you know what that means?” she did not even wait for any form of reply. “That guy is head over heels in love for you. No vampire in his right mind, would give away a catch, especially not nowadays.”

“True, but you seem to forget that he is a first generation vampire.”

All of a sudden, the other female’s face turned pale and troubled. “So it IS true?” Satine nodded, alarmed and confused at her friend’s reaction. “I thought they were gone… do you know what this means?”

“No…” she replied hesitantly.

Padme leaned over the small table, looking around as if afraid that someone might overhear. Then, she whispered, “If there is one, there will be more and the first generation always appears, when trouble is on the way. You of all people should know that.”

Satine winced. It was trued. Back, when she had been a fare human maiden, she had lived in a mere town, where the most exciting thing that happened was, when a farmer’s animal was killed by a wolf. But then one day, THEY had appeared. Vampires, at first it had been one with deep red and and black sclera, but he was followed by others. A lot of people blamed them for the catastrophe that followed afterwards. Today it was called ‘The Plague’, the ‘Black Death’, but Satine only remembered it as her own personal nightmare. 

Her sister had been the first to get infected, later on almost the whole village had died, the whole village, except those, who had been granted the gift of immortality. She had been one of them, but due to her feverish state, she didn’t remember much of it. She dimply remembered a pair of red and black eyes and then, her world went black.

“I tell you,” Padme continued, completely oblivious to her friend’s line of thought, “it is a bad omen.”

“I don’t know Padme, it sounds all so far fetched. Perhaps you ARE right and they DO appear, when chaos and catastrophes are about to start, but who says that they are responsible? Perhaps they just know when something is about to happen and they are drawn to it, like the moth to the light.” She shrugged.

There was an unreadable expression on the brunette’s features and her eyes were hard. “Perhaps,” she agreed, “But… I want you to know that you can always come to me should there be anything… strange… with your first generation friend.” 

This was very important for Padme, Satine could feel that. She did not dare to do anything but nod and gave her thanks. Afterwards, there was a tension between the two females that did not leave, not even, when the two vampires parted ways, both deep in though…

Vampire padme threatens to castrate vampire anakin if he ever thinks of joining the dark side.

A huge smile appeared on Anakin Skywalker’s features, as he sent a glance towards his wife, who was watching their children play on the carpet with a fond expression on her beautiful features. Ever since the birth of Luke and Leia, their life had become so much better and much more meaningful. It was a great feeling, one that the blonde did not know he had needed and wanted up until now.

Padme returned her husband’s smile with one of her own. She had a pretty good idea about what he was currently thinking. Their life had never been better than it was now, with their two treasures sitting nearby, playing peacefully. But despite their feelings, there was one thing that bothered the new mother greatly. She loved Luke and Leia, more than anything else in the word - except Anakin of course - but she was not sure, if they had been born at the right time. The galaxy was torn, war was raging and every time her husband and the rest of the family was sent out on missions, Padme feared for their safety, fully knowing that their lives were on the line and that they might not return one day.

The Senator was no fool, she knew that she would not be left completely alone, but it changed nothing at the fact that she rather had her family remain as it currently was. 

“You seem troubled,” Anakin’s voice was barely above a whisper. He did not want to startle the brown haired female, nor did he want to catch the attention of the twins.

“I am,” Padme replied without really thinking. A worried look appeared on the Jedi’s features and in his eyes raged a storm of different emotions. The Senator was not able to catch, let alone NAME them all. She sighed, “I am worried, Ani, worried about the future.”

The blonde’s forehead furrowed. “What do you mean?”

For a moment Padme wanted to shake her head and tell her husband that it was nothing after all, but then she decided to go with the truth. “I had dreams… about you.”

“About me?” he sounded completely confused now. It was as if he was sitting for a specially hard puzzle that he was desperately trying to solve, but without any success. Too many pieces were still missing to finish it. 

Padme nodded. “I was seeing you… but you seemed… strange, different. You had changed, you were… darker.” It was obvious that she was struggling to find the right words to describe what she had experienced. 

“Darker? Padme,” he covered the little distance between them and took the older female’s hands in his own, intending to offer comfort and much as he found it. “I would never turn to the dark side, you know that.” He vowed, but it did not help to make her feel better.

“I know that,” she easily lied. As a politician, it was one of the first skills you learnt, lying without being detected. It was not as if she did not trust her husband and his words. She did, with her life and the lives of her children, but there was something about the dreams that kept bothering her. “I know,” she repeated, “and you better keep that promise, otherwise I will castrate you.”

The pair of blue eyes that belonged to Anakin, blinked in surprise. The joke had been unexpected, but from the indulgent and amused smile that appeared on his features, it was well worth it. “In this case, I have to watch out even more.” He joined the teasing and pulled his wife closer against him, engulfing the smaller female into a bone-crushing hug.

Padme immediately settled against the muscled and familiar chest of the father of her children. She could still feel comforted and relaxed with him, that was a good sign. Still, the dream she was repeatedly having, did nothing to ease her worries. Perhaps it was time to talk to Obi-Wan or Qui-Gon… perhaps even with Jocasta Nu. 

… that certainly sounded like a good idea.
