The other vampire ask has me thinking, how do you think the vampire uncles teach the twins the way to be a proper vampire? How to hunt, how to use their abilities, etc… I can see Copia crying when one of the uncles teach him how to hunt a rat

primo does the explaining, secondo does the showing, and terzo does a bit of both. primo essentially gives them lessons, detailing different parts of their kind's history as he explains how and why they do the things they do, like sleeping in coffins. secondo believes they can never know anything until they do it, so he takes them out and shows them everything he knows being a vampire, particularly hunting, throwing them right into it. terzo teaches them the subtler things, like how to entrall someone and how to feed without spilling a drop, explaining how to do it before demonstrating it himself.

perpetua is a natural. he has already figured out how to do a lot of the things on his own, and the rest only take a brief explanation or instruction and he's got it down. they were all surprised when he came running into the room they were all in one day and excitedly announced that he'd just taught himself something and then turned into a bat. he's the perfect little vampire.

copia needs more help. he struggles a bit, not as adept as his twin. he's not bad at being a vampire, but it just doesn't come as naturally. it takes him a long time to be able to change forms, which frustrates him. perpetua tries to help, but he's not good at explaining it. primo is the one who finally helps him do it, and copia flutters around in delight, going straight for perpetua who beams before transforming as well so they can fly around together.
