28 and Alucard/Lyudmil, pretty please?
28.Teaching the other something new
For a prince, Lyudmil discovered, Adrian knew surprisingly little about the world outside the castle. He seemed some days, outright scared of the human villages that set up around the roads, and he had every reason to be.
Still, he followed Lyudmil every time he went out to the markets. He was too tall, he stood out, noble and regal and beautiful, and Lyudmil had to laugh at the looks he got, awkward and skittish though he was. He stood out, and Lyudmil had to tease him about it all the way home.
“What am I supposed to do, in the human villages then?”
“Perhaps not jitter about like a spooked rabbit?” Lyudmil knocked into him with his shoulder, laughed.
“But they’re humans! If they knew what I was, they’d-”
“They would be terrified. They would attack. That’s why you cannot call attention to yourself.” Lyudmil stopped, took his hand.
“Just treat them like you would treat me.” He offered, met the dhampir’s eyes.
“Kiss them whenever I please?” Adrian teased. He leaned in, he stole a kiss.
“That’s not what I meant at all.” Lyudmil laughed. “Come out with me again soon. I’ll teach you.”
