Eden Gilbert in Silent Cry + Season 1

It was supposed to be a fresh start. The Gilbert siblings were supposed to begin the new school year, leave the tragedy behind them, and move forward to a better, happier life.

Instead, the new year found Jeremy with a drug addiction, Elena with a secretive, borderline creepy boyfriend, and Eden with voices in her head and a never ending sense of dread and distress. Family secrets were coming to light, about Elena and Eden’s true parentage, along with secrets that the town of Mystic Falls has been keeping for generations- about vampires, werewolves, and all manner of things that go bump in the night. And just like that, the Gilbert sisters’ lives are turned upside down. School dances turned hunting parties, friends discovering powers, relationships starting only to fall apart, murder becoming a near constant occurrence, and vampires lurking around every corner...

And it all started when the Salvatore brothers arrived in town.
