Mao woke with a start, groaning a bit. His head hurt a lot, he remembered walking home from school, but nothing after that. He looked around at the unfamiliar room and sat up slowly. He moved slightly, feeling something around his ankle. He looked down and jolted in shock when he saw the chain.

He reached down and tried to pry it off. His head was pounding but he kept trying to pry it open and then trying to push it off his foot. He didn't get what was happening, why was there a chain around his foot? Where was he anyway? Had he wronged somebody, is that why he was here? He couldn't remember. Maybe if the person ever came down here he could apologize for whatever he did.

Kaoru glared at the vampire who recently purchased him. He didn't care if he bought him and actually gave money to someone else to 'own' him. He refused to be reduced to a possession. "I do not belong to you. I never will."

He took a few steps away from him, putting a little distance between them. He didn't want to be anywhere near him. Why couldn't a cute girl have bought him? That would make this situation seem a little better. This guy did seem wealthy, maybe he would have some cute maids he could flirt with.

Rei was heading to Ritsu's room to deal with the moody little kid. He didn't understand what the problem was, he had just told him that Kaoru was going to help him raise him. Didn't most kids want two parents? Plus with his duties as king, he couldn't be with Ritsu as much as he wanted to be. Which was pretty much all the time, Ritsu was just too adorable after all.

He walked into the room and once he located Ritsu, he walked over to him and snatched him up, hugging him close like he always did. "Ritsu. Now that my meeting are done for the day, we can talk. And I want to talk about that huge fit you threw earlier, it was unnecessary. Don't you want someone who can love and care for you while I'm busy with my meetings?"
