but the new knights mv is soooooo cute a friend has been downloading them and sending them on discord so now i have like 4 enstars mvs on my laptop and while valk 2d was my fave, the knights one is suuuuuper cute. tragic that they did that with the story and then still have the audacity to make cute and amazing songs and mvs.

guilty gear's story kinda convoluted thanks to the fact it's a fighting game and the large roster, so here are some videos about the lore! they cover each and every part of the stories before strive! these videos are a little outdated with some stuff tho (like how they refer to bridget with he/him pronouns and stuff) because it was released before strive and bridget being added in. in my opinion, instead of watching the last three videos though you can actually just watch the xrd's story in youtube! (watch sign then rev 2!) to have your own, like, thoughts on how stuff happened. i only vaguely know the lore but i think you should also watch the side stories for silly stuff and certain character arcs (you can also do this with strive's main story and side story) OH! about guilty gear overture, you can actually watch the cutscenes of the game yourself and see silly character moments in the game that the video doesn't bring up but you don't need to, do whatever you want!
there's also an anime that's going to be released in the near future that focuses on ky and dizzy's marriage (aww) but other than that, this is pretty much everything for the main story! the anime's going to be animated by the same studio who made d4dj's anime, so i hope that means they'll have another collab and have songs added in (PLEAAAASE!!!!)
