I don’t know which dissent is my fave from that series of rulings: the defense of domestic abusers’ right to firearms, his saying there is no constitutional right to abortion services, or his calling affirmative action’s goals a fad.

The character I least understand:

Penny Dreadful: I don’t understand why Lucifer can’t just let Vanessa live.

Hamilton: I don’t understand why Hercules Mulligan is in the show when a man named Cato, a slave Mulligan held, did most of the actual smuggling and spying but okay I guess.

Interactions I enjoyed the most:

Penny Dreadful: Vanessa with Ethan.

Hamilton: The ending of Non-Stop when they’re all singing over each other and intermix, especially Eliza saying ‘would it be enough’ and then joining with Angelica to say ‘to be satisfied’. And when the company responds ‘just you wait’ when Hamilton says ‘I am not throwing away my shot’ (and how Hamilton says, ‘I am Alexander Hamilton!’ and the company reaffirms the ‘Hamilton’ part, but they’re also actually saying ‘Hamilton, just you wait!’). THE FORESHADOWING.

The character who scares me the most:

Penny Dreadful: Vanessa.

Hamilton: Philip in ‘Blow Us All Away’ because I KNOW WHAT’S COMING.

The character who mostly like me:

Penny Dreadful: Thankfully, none.

Hamilton: You’re opening campaigning? Burr: Sure! Hamilton: That’s new. Burr: Honestly, it’s kind of draining. Is a relatable Slytherin moment that is very me.

Hottest looks character:

Penny Dreadful: Obviously Vanessa.

Hamilton: Lafayette.

One thing I dislike about my fave character:

Penny Dreadful: Possessed by demons.

Hamilton: Gets a beautiful ballad that is the best work filling in a source narrative gap (Eliza’s real life response to the Reynold’s Affair) I have ever encountered.

One thing I like about my hated character:

Penny Dreadful: Sir Malcolm’s probably going to die soon. That’s nice.

Hamilton: Jefferson is played by a beautiful, very talented multi-hyphenate future Tony winner and irl, if it exists, is probably rotting in hell.

A quote or scene that haunts me:

Penny Dreadful: The Cut-Wife’s death.

Hamilton: Eliza’s wail at the end of ‘Stay Alive (Reprise)’ which I might have heard on some unauthorized recordings idk. Or, it’s not exactly haunting, but in Hurricane when Alexander says, ‘I wrote my way out of hell, I wrote my way to revolution, I was louder than the crack in the bell.’

A death that left me indifferent:

Penny Dreadful: The witch who was the main villain at the end of Season 2 whose name I can’t remember.

Hamilton: lol.

A character I wish died but didn’t:

Penny Dreadful: Sir Malcolm, but I am waiting for the day.

Hamilton: No, no. I think there’s enough happening there.

My ship that never sailed:

Penny Dreadful: Victor/relaxing and not being murderously possessive.

Hamilton: John Adams/getting roasted by everyone at every turn possible (applies more so to the Broadway version)

Ooooh!The character I least understand:

Everyone in Tomb of the Lost Queen because I barely remember anything about that game aside from Nancy doing some Lara Croft-esque column jumping.

Interactions I enjoyed the most:

I’m going to limit this to moments because there are some games where I love Nancy’s interactions with everyone (like in Danger by Design).

Nancy and Carson at the end of Silent Spy. At the end of Shattered Medallion when Nancy and Sonny are escaping and he is so excited and Nancy is so over it. When Zoe threatens to ‘bag and drag’ (I think it was) Nancy. Nancy and Nicolas Falcone working together on the Houdini lead. Nancy talking to Frank when she and Ned are having a fight in the beginning of Captive Curse. When Ned tells Nancy he loves her and she can say, “I don’t know how I feel,” because I am a terrible, bitter person.

The character who scares me the most:

My first thought is Ethel from Blackmoor Manor with her little jump scares, but the robotic yurei in Shadow at the Water’s Edge always gets me.

The character who is mostly like me:

I wanna say Mel from Waverly Academy but I would be giving myself too much goth credit. Maybe Jing Jing or Heather from Danger by Design.

Hottest looks character:

Niobe. Although I will admit, I had a thing for Henry Bolet back in the day.

One thing I dislike about my fave character:

Alexi Markovic is flawless and I won’t hear any slander.

One thing I like about my hated character:

Richard Topham has a cute computer animated blob of a cat.

A quote or scene that haunts me:

When Harper says to Nancy in Ghost of Thornton Hall, “But then one day I was older than my older sister. And older still today.”

A death that left me indifferent:

Every single death in these games has fucked me up except maybe the guy in Deadly Device. Nikola Tesla dying was far more upsetting than that guy, and that didn’t even have anything to do with the game’s plot.

A character I wish died but didn’t:

Andy from Danger on Deception Island because death by dolphin is exactly what he deserved.

My ship that never sailed:

Literally nothing I ship is canon except Dirk/Frances, but the one that has the least support is Henrik/Alejandro from Scarlet Hand. It might be a reach, but imagine the cute baseball dates.
