Since my main contribution in this fandom seems to be saying unpopular opinions and seeing if anyone agrees: did anyone else really like Mike and Mona together? I think they actually had one of the healthiest relationships on the show and deserved more time and attention.

Since you're a huge Mona fan what did you think of her ending?

I’ll be honest while I thought it was cool how the “Original A” brought down the final A, I thought her ending was kind of sad. Not to mention I think it sent a bad message about mental health in general.

Now if you were to ask me how I would’ve written her ending, this is how.

Okay, given how she’s wanted this since Day 1, I would’ve had her FINALLY get the acceptance, trust and friendship from the Liars she’s wanted for so long. Seriously what’s wrong with that ending?

 I’m sorry but whether you like or dislike her character, it doesn’t make any sense why Mona wasn’t accepted by them in the end. They were clearly going to have that plot-line of “We trust you! We hate you!” Finally be resolved in the ending especially with her speech in 7x16 of how they never include her in anything except only to get something from her and then kick her out when they’ve gotten what they wanted. Not to mention in 7x19, they understood what she did to Charlotte was an accident but in 7x20, they (save for Hanna) treat her like she’s the devil and she just murdered Charlotte for the Lols. Frankly, it just got old and repetitive of them freezing Mona out and it should’ve been over after the dollhouse, IMO. It’s like the writers had no idea what to do with Mona and the Liars so they just kept it at that constant, “We hate her but let’s just use her whenever we want to!” storyline rather than finally going forward.

It’s sad how everyone else got what they wanted yet Mona couldn’t get the acceptance from the Liars. Not to mention, they all got to marry their high school sweethearts yet Mona couldn’t marry Mike? I’m sorry but I think that’s utterly ridiculous.
