superwoman special #1 (2024)
something I really do love about lois and lana's dynamic in smallville is that despite not having a lot of scenes together, they never once think or say anything bad about the other and in fact are very supportive of each other and look out for each other. plus lois was just in awe of lana and thinks she's the most beautiful and most badass girl ever since day one and straight up says that she understands why clark is in love with her but doesn't get the other way around because at the time, she finds him insufferable (she also didn't get why chloe liked him either). like they are girls girl's who love each other very much, and I am forever grateful that this show didn't pin them against each other
lesbianism
I love clois but I love lanalois too
justin hartley, who played oliver queen (green arrow) in smallville, answered a fan question in 2014 about which couple he ships: clana or clois.
his answer? lanois (lana x lois)
dude was shipping sapphic dc queens years before it was cool. but I guess that's what a lifetime of comic books does to a person.
lana lang and lois lane in superman III (1983)
In superman III (1983), lana lang was played by annette o'toole, who would later play martha kent in smallville. while margot kidder, who played lois lane in the movies, later appeared in smallville as bridgette crosby.
