I think about my characters with service/emotional help animals a lot. Dallon with a service berd (essentially Falcondad but in humanstuck he'd have a parrot or smth) Vaneda with a doge (she'd probably have an Australian shepherd to keep up with her energy) Viveka just runs a pet store let's be real here And Ankhos with a cat (a three legged rescue who sits on his books all the time)

Pale for all of your main trolls?

Funnily enough nearly all my main trolls are taken in pale, but let's do it! it'll mostly be descriptions then how they're working on that in pale.

Dallon:It's a matter of give and get for Dallon, once he sees you've given him all you can, he will give all he can in return, and try to do more as well.He needs to be able to be open with his feelings as he views having anything other than 'sassy and sarcasm' as weak and revealing. It takes a lot of trust a time for him to be able to do such a thing. It took a while for him to even be able to open up completely to Vel in red, let alone pale.He needs a sort of unquestioning person, who will let him speak on his own terms, most of the time. Vel seems to know when to whack Dal into expressing his feelings, and while dal may not like it at the time, usually they can work it out and dal is crying/but feeling better afterwards.He needs to feel safe with the person he's with. Vel has made himfeel safer than anyone, and that helps add in the openness factor. If he feels safe, he feels like he can open up. Especially on his quiet days.Giving back, oh damn if you treat Dal you will get his all in return like 5real. He will give his all to make sure you feel comfortable, safe, and like you can talk about anything and not get judged, because he really doesn't. He will help calm you down, pick you up, whatever you need he'll give it. And he's doing just that for Vel.

Ankhos:This little fluff of nervous just needs a backbone sometimes. He needs someone who can help him get over a few of his nervous ticks and mindsets, but also someone who can help him unwind and calm down. While the extremes may seem a bit much to some people, it's a balance to his own extremes and he knows how to follow. Ilidae somehow balances out and is slowly helping him with both, though some of his antics get Ankh really nervous/worried for him.When giving back, he's not really sure what to do, new to the whole pale thing really. But with Ilidae it's pretty easy to find out what to do most times, make sure he doesn't anger any highbloods or burn anything down, and make some tea/cookies/teeny blanket fort to help calm down later. There's most certainly more, but simply watching out for Ilidae is what he's best at, and asking what's wrong or if he wants to talk about it when something is obviously bothering the little 'chilla (when Il gets his hair messed up is when ankhos gets even more mother owl and will care for Ilidae so much because the distress ;n; )He's also fiercely protective, and would take on Tezcat again if it meant keeping Ilidae out of harm.Vaneda:Someone needs to help her calm her shit sometimes like damn son you are not an energizer bunny. She's very imaginative and tends to need a nice dose of reality even if it's light or in the form of someone a lot more down to earth than she tends to be. There's also the teeny case of her pent up anger. Doesn't happen very often but it can be a little...drastic. Just help her not get to that point, and keep her calm. Uacsec is doing a very good job.Giving back is where you see the 'holy shit generous' and 'oh my god i didn't know you could actually get serous and give actual advice that's wise.' She's very very generous with her time and will not leave until she has helped to settle you down or let go of whatever pent up feelings you have. She's trying to do that with Uacsec as best she can, but what he isnt telling her is worrying her, she just wants to help.Viveka:I don't even know with her.She's a huge motherly troll to ALL MY TROLLS. Like if you asked any one of my trolls they would be able to say Viveka has helped them in some way, or they knew/know Viveka. She's very in tune to what other people need and will act accordingly, getting that they need or treating them how they need. She is also, however, very no nonsense and if you try to pull the wool over her eyes more than the once she lets you have about something she will shove it back down your throat and knock you down a peg. So if you're trying to hide something, she won't pry until she sees it's an obvious problem. But don't LIE about it. Not beyond kicking ass to get someone tuckered out to open up. She can be gentle, but she won't take any mess.I don't even know if she needs a moirail. She is her own moirail.

Who out of your trolls or kids would be most likely to go grimdark at any point in their session? Who would be least likely?

Well Nixe has actually gone grimdark in canon session, so there's that

Dal also does but it's forced grimdark by Tezcat

I guess the least likely but most terrifying grimdark has to come from Vaneda, Ankhos also has a terrifying grimdark form but he manages to fend it off.

What are the favourite kinds of music for your main muses (both troll and human)? Are they the kind of troll/kid to be caught dancing, or would they rather just sit and listen?

Dallon's is probably just alternative rock? I can see him listening to things ranging from My Chemical Romance, to Skillet or Avenged Sevenfold. He usually just sits and listens, maybe smiles a bit when his favourite songs come on.

Viveka is definitely pop-dance and Bollywood songs, she'll usually be caught dancing, as it is her job and hella go with the beat.

Vaneda is a funny one, actually. Because one minute she can be blasting screamo, the next something by Mumford and Sons, then even Speed Techno. She's got a little of everything and would definitely be the kind to be caught dancing/drag other people in to dance.

Ankhos is classical and neo-classical for sure, I can see him listening to stuff by Two Steps From Hell if we're gettin edgy here. Definitely more or a sit and listener.

Chaz, he's almost like Vaneda but with a more pop/alternative music ear. He'll dance around most of the time, but sometimes when he's in a bad mood/having a slow day he'll just chill and listen.

Nixe is darker rock and music in general, she would hardly ever dance if it wasn't for Babydolle pulling her in to.

Nervous Habits of the Main Four:

Dallon: Hand Picking/Scratching

Vaneda: Finger/hand drumming

Ankhos: Hair pulling/Nail biting

Viveka: Lip biting/licking and Foot tapping

Okay So I’ll do it for the four main ones- Vaneda, Dallon, Viveka, and Ankhos.

VanedaTechnique: Hmm…she’s not really a very sexual being, but I guess hers is very focused on pleasing her and her partner. She loves going slow and building up rather than just getting straight to the down and dirty. Unless she’s in heat, nu-uh, not happening-or at least she won’t get off.

Position: Well as much as someone may not want to mar those wings, she likes being on bottom or against a wall of some sort. Lap riding is most common though and she rather likes that as well.

Other: Kiss dem hands. Play with her hands, wrists, kiss them, gently bite at them. Her hands are a very sensitive spot.

DallonTechnique: Fast, hard, passionate. That’s how he usually does it. Sex is a kind of outlet for him and whatever pent up energy he hasn’t gotten out hunting or blowing stuff up with chemistry. However, when he loves someone, he prefers to go slow on occasion. For him and his partner.

Position: Once again, lap riding is a rather popular one, due to it being Vel’s favourite, but he likes doggystyle as well, mostly because it gives attention to his back and neck that he really likes.

Other: Kissing/sucking/biting dat neck, along with some light rubbing, will be something that can quite easily get him off. He likes orgasm denial, teasing and edging as much as he complains about it, or denies it. Roaming hands are his favourite and since he can’t hear or see he often has roaming hands and listens.

Viveka:Technique: She loves teasing her partners holy poop. She always puts a focus on them in one way or another and likes seeing them moan/squirm/what have you. She does prefer to Dom-whether by dom bottom or actually topping-and it kind of helps that Respy goes with the flow.

Position: There is no one that is her favourite. She will try quite a few, usually by recommendation-her or someone elses- or by idea. It usually goes well but if it doesn’t at least it’ll end it laughs and cuddles.

Other: Stomach kisses and thigh kisses are things she really loves.

Ankhos:Technique: Ohhh man he really just wants to please his partner as best he can. Being new and nervous to it all he is mostly just trying new things. There’s no technique really as what just happens-mostly trying to muffle himself. Though dom-bottom may be a thing in the near fu

Position: Nothing really. There’s only one he knows and it’s not a big favourite. Have fun finding out, he’s reeeally flexible.

Other: Holding his hands during it can help, as much as he hates it because he can’t muffle himself or hide his face. And he likes soft kissing on his lips and chest.
