Experimenting with bold lines, some of these turned out better than others lol, also reused a few poses from that one chibi post from months ago (partly because of laziness, partly bc drawing 20 different characters in dynamic poses is tiring)
I figured out their anatomy, it's blocky and weird
Vanny is like that because of they way i had her die: A giant metal scooper ramming into your face wouldn't do wonders to your skull, who would've thought?

Wow, it's been a ride and half! Gonna use this opportunity to look back and also yap a lot:
it wasn't until a year ago that i finally decided to start posting online… Hell, i started DRAWING back in last march, prior to that i would actively avoid doing so because i was dogshit at it lol (i'm still horrible with a pencil, need a mouse and a keyboard to cook) - and a lot of it is thanks to this silly creature.
When i saw that Dogman post about Vanny as possible Dsaf character i fell in love with the concept immediately, she just has so, SO much potential and i craved content featuring her - which wasn't a lot - so i started making stuff about her myself and well, here we are now.
Seriously, the sheer amount of ideas i get for her is insane, i reinvent her constantly, sometimes i get too carried away and lose some of the plot like the overly edgy psycho Vanny art (she's still VERY delulu but i'm toning down the whole personality-split thingy)
Every once in a while i try to make her super complex and like - sometimes less is more - she's already a fun character by default thanks to being a chaotic, goofy, oblivious idiot that doesn't realize the dangerous trouble she puts herself and others into.
Speaking of ideas - fleshed out her dynamic with Dave:
He meets her at a location Jack doesn't work at and Vanessa acts as his lackey (not even as Old Sport's replacement, she's below that; he'd leave the more annoying/dangerous tasks to her, not caring if she gets hurt or dies). He doesn't trust her at all and keeps her around solely so that he has someone to frame for if his plans go wrong.
I feel like he'd slowly warm up to her as time goes on (not on a romantic way, thought about it for bit but nah, i like it more as if they had a sibling-like dynamic instead and he saw her as his bitchass little sister he's forced to bring along. This also adds Vanessa/Dee parallels, which i really like since the longer i think about it i realize they have surprisingly a lot in common).
Obviously Jack still means WAY more to him but watching him go from treating her like a disposable lackey, to an apprentice, to acknowledging her as a "Kiddie Strangler V3" would be neat.
Anyways - next post will be Frickbear's related, then probably a redraw of Soulless Legacy afterwards as that piece means a lot to me and was made on april 15th 2025, so it'll be a 1-year redraw (it's the earliest "peak" of my artistic skills at the time, i still feel like it holds up to this day)

-She bites full-force with those shark teeth (zombie instincts, yeowch)
-Is a huge Hello Kitty and Barbie fan (she's basically a irl Moldy Barbie doll)
-She's jealous of Dave because he's got bigger boobs than her and is tall (she's a petite shortstack; Her ass is fatter though, so she atleast has that)
