Recognize these two? Revamp time!

Michael Rivera and Vanessa Saeed Working in the same department as Michelle, they’re the drill sergeants of the soldier project of kids from the lower income neighborhoods and towns (like Gwen and Aj). Michael is in charge of the older boys and girls, often his section is disguised as the regular US Military and can be outside in public view. Vanessa is in charge of the younger girls department, ages ranging from 3-10. Both are scum working for a horrible project and honestly don’t care about training literal slaves. They have a father daughter relationship, going as far as Vanessa calling Michael “dad” and Michael referring to Vanessa as his daughter. Their past is overall encrypted and unknown, but Michael was a former general for the US military, and Vanessa was a few ranks below. They met during that period of time. These are side characters, but they’re still important to Durante, especially regarding Michelle.

7: who do you look up to?

Vanessa: shit, I don’t know. Really, I don’t think there’s anyone who I look up to. Not at all. No one.

Michael: …

Vanessa, snickering: nope no one rings a bell.

Vanessa: I loooove paranormal shit, it’s the only thing that like really scares me, since it’s real yknow? I don’t care what anyone says, spirits exist. Horror books, movies, it all freaks me out. I don’t like the fake shows though. Its too cliche and boring. I only like things based on a true story, so maybe like The Exorcist? I mean say whatever you want about it, it’s a classic. Everyone shit their pants when they first watched it.

24: what’s your love language

Vanessa: they always say like that your love language is what you didn’t receive growing up or in life, and I think it’s true. I’m a gift giver, I always spend my money on people I love and get them like thoughtful things. Anything that reminds me of them. Or anything they want, I’ll get it hahahaha

Weeeell, since Mochael and Vanessa are your ocs, why don't you incorporate them into the Durante stories somehow? Though I can't help but notice similarities between them and Marcellious and Jackie... buuut maybe?

Yup I already have. I made a post about it a little bit ago, I forgot what last names I gave them but if you scroll through my art tag you’ll find it.

I can’t really go into depth about them right now since I’m working on a drawing rn, so my mind is elsewhere. But I’ll make a post again about them soon describing who they are and such. Keep in mind they’re side characters so they won’t get nearly as much development as people themselves and their relationship vs marcellious and Jackie.
