With all this discussion around Betty and Jimmy- why is no one bringing up Libby’s worst moment?

It’s worse than Lady Sings the News for me imo: Libby HELPS Jimmy impress Betty in Vanishing Act.

Yes, he’s paying her, but Libby is not a shallow or greedy person. She cares for her friends way deeper than money or material objects- she has her moments like in A Beautiful Mine- but in the end she always comes to the realization that her friends matter more.

In the episode she even shushes Cindy for being upset. This is NOT Libby. This has gotta be her evil clone or something.

She gripes with and nudges Cindy to just be real with her feelings for Jimmy. She loves Cindy to death and wants her to be genuinely happy.

Vanishing Act is so out of left field for Libby’s character. Libby would never do something she knows will crush her best friend like that- especially not for a stupid reason like “he’s paying me lol”.

Vanishing Act is so irritating for that alone. It’s Libby’s equivalent to Carl Wheezer Boy Genius.

Oh man YES right?! I don’t know what the writers were thinking with this episode but it was so ooc for her. Maybe you’re right, maybe this was an alternate version of her that broke loose from one of those dang dimensions that were being showcased on it XD

…Alright I’m making that my headcanon, that’s that.
