A NERVOUS chuckle escaped Prompto’s lips. He didn’t want Stella to worry about him, but the fact was that he hadn’t even noticed his own injury, probably because he was too concentrated on the fight he had done against those daemons. He hated himself for this though; he didn’t want to be a burden for his friends, just like he didn’t want Stella to worry about him.

“It’s probably not a big deal, but I’m gonna clean it and come back in a short while!” He assured, keeping his smile on his lips. Of course, he was trying to REASSURE her since he didn’t know at all how it looked like, but he still started walking away, to make sure she wasn’t the one helping him deal with his injury.

Well, he actually felt that. Well, it was her that slapped him. Someone that could actually do some damage. His head had moved to the side because he was slapped. But he didn’t get annoyed.

He simply grinned and slowly faced toward, before his hand wrapped around the back of her head and he leaned in, closed his eyes and pressed his lips against hers as his response to the slap. Then his other arm wrapped around her waist.

She was trying to pull away, almost frantic to see if there was anyone----anyone at all--she might possibly still save. Altissia was in ruins, the surf battering the streets and mekfire strafing the ancient buildings to rubble, but hidden in all the chaos there might yet be lives her powers could save. Lunafreya was nothing if not persistant in that regard.

So she managed to get the knife to his neck again it would seem, but he had done the same. He also had his knife at her neck. It was a stalemate. There were no real moves to make here. It was like a draw.

But he had one move left! One move indeed! The arm that didn’t have a knife found it’s way around her waist, fulling her close, her body right up against his as he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers, moving his lips along hers.

Despite the fact they both had knifes to each others necks. This was quite the bold risk. But everyone has to be foolish and just live a little.

Noctis would accept the reality as it was. The heart wants what the heart wants. If he had the knowledge to get the concept. He has a strong belief that people should get exactly what they want and do what they want.

If who he wanted, wanted someone else. And his feelings refused to change. He would look for a way to change what the other wanted into him, in a way that respects what they want at that current moment in time.
