All Miriam Vista Points in Forbidden West
After my favourite 86" @cambridgeafricaexpedition was recovered by the AA and repaired by @stemorecroft she received a lift via Ste's D4 from Nottinghamshire to Snowdonia - today I will be taking #PAC519 on a shakedown to see if she's fit for a trip to London & back. It would be a great understatement to say the L319 is a competent towing vehicle - it's no surprise at all that they're such a choice motor for towists. My D3 has also been left in the very capable hands Mr Morecroft for a final tweak whilst I was forced to slumb-it by pottering about in his Aston. I'm also enjoying capturing much required content of #PAC519 courtesy of @wue306. BTW, all the above pix were taken using my Note 20 ultra. Do they pass as suitable for net consumption? Miriam Vista Points: Scalding Spear
“Congratulations. You've reached the Southwestern Solar stop of our Vista Point Tour, brought to you by Miriam Technologies and the Coalition for Environmental Reclamation.
With innovation comes challenge, and for all our good intentions, we can sometimes cause harm without meaning to. Solar facilities like this one have helped combat climate change by generating clean energy, but their boilers have proved dangerous to birds, insects and bats. That's why Miriam Technologies' Warden drones are designed to monitor local wildlife, from the largest avians to the tiniest grubs, tracking any change in population. That way, we can help ensure that good intentions always produce good results.”
Miriam Vista Point: The Isle of Spires
“Congratulations. You've found the San Francisco stop on the Vista Point Tour, brought to you by Miriam Technologies and the Coalition for Environmental Reclamation.
We all have origin stories, and San Francisco has been a big part of ours. Founded in 2049 by Elisabet Sobeck and named after her mother, Miriam Technologies embarked on its first projects here in the city. From simple gardening drones that tended schools and parks to pollutant-monitoring systems that led to cleaner, healthier air, our early successes evolved into major, worldwide investments in ecological robotics. Through it all, it's safe to say we left our heart in San Francisco. And we're glad you found it here at this stop.”

“Welcome to the Las Vegas Strip stop of our Vista Point Tour, brought to you by Miriam Technologies and the Coalition for Environmental Reclamation.
The water system built by Stanley Chen and Oa8is Filtration to service the Las Vegas dome is a marvel of engineering, recycling 99.7% of the city's supply. But sometimes even the best can be improved. With the recent adaptation of Miriam Technologies' Winnow scrubbing drones, legacy microplastic content within the system has been reduced by 73%.”
Vantage 2.4: Lake Powell
“Day 11. I came out here to die. But instead of overdosing at Wyatt’s cottage, I went out walking along the water. I was standing right here when the idea hit me, and the moment it did… I knew I had to do it.”
Vantage 3.3: Sterling-Malkeet Amphitheater
"Apocashitstorm Tour, day 5. The Grey Swarms opened for Turtlesmash the night I OD'd here - or so the police report said, anyway. I was fifteen years old. When I woke in the hospital two days later, your face was the first thing I saw."
Vantage 2.2: Monument Valley
"Apocashitstorm Tour, day 7. I was three months out of rehab when we went camping out here. Wyatt went to sleep early, so it was just the two of us when we stayed up and watched the Perseids. After, as we talked about the stars and space tech, I suddenly knew what I wanted to do with my life."
