Thigh High: The Kush of Kabaret
On Saturday March 21 Vape on the Lake hosted a sizzling burlesque show, hosted by the magical Lukas Stark. His magic was impressive andkept the attention of the unusually quiet crowd throughout the night. Stark’s most impressive trick was when he swallowed and regurgitated several razor blades, a shocking and unbelievable feat.
The first burlesque act of the evening was Fiona Flauntit who delivered a sexy, sunny day inspired performance. A highlight of her act coming with an incredible wig change half way through. Next to hit the stage was Disco Valante who stripped down in search of her bag of weed, an appropriate performance for the location. This dance got big laughs and had jaws dropping all over the room. Third on stage was performer, producer, and teacher, Esther DeVille who glistened in purple as she danced to Sway. Her performance was sultry and sexy, the smoke from the room adding to her allure.
Imogen Quest was the next girl to hit the stage-- and the audience! She made her way around the room and “Leid” a few members of the audience. Another great moment of her act coming with the comical removal of the never ending hula skirt.
When Fiona Flauntit took the stage for a second time she dazzled the crowd with her bright green fringe, brilliant headdress and bamboo fans. A remarkable costume to go with a remarkable performance.
The final act of the evening was Scarlet Deamon who delivered an energy filled performance involving glowing balls on strings. A perfect finale for the show.
