Serious question. Why is it that every time I see a post of a celebrity vaping there's always people commenting negatively about what device they chose to keep them off of cigarettes? Don't get me wrong, I love the high-end shit just as much as the next guy and if I had @LeonardoDiCaprio money I would most likely have a VEEERRY nice collection...to put it mildly. However, a lot of us seem to be missing the point as to why most of us switched to vaping in the first place. I bring it up because as I read through the comments sometimes I see a lot of vapers shaming them because they're using an inexpensive or outdated device. If it's working to keep someone from smoking than that shit is the bomb!! I mean that is the end goal...right? Not everyone needs that nice shiny $400+ device to keep them happy and they damn sure shouldn't be ridiculed for their choice. I bring this up because it's not just something that I see on social media...nor is it directed at celebrities only. It's something that I've seen first hand when someone walks into a vape shop using an eGo-C Twist with a Protank 2. The first thing out of a lot of people's mouths is a somewhat condescending…“You need to upgrade!” or “Who still uses those?” That attitude right there is what turns a lot of smokers off of vaping period! Not every vaper is going to care about keeping up with what's new or what's being hyped at the moment. All they care about is that they're getting their nic fix and staying off cancer sticks. We don't all need gobs of airflow with a .02 ohm coil set to 200w to be satisfied. Somehow a lot of vapers seem to think that subohming at high wattages is THE only way to vape and that just isn't the case. And for the record a MPV2 with a Mega Aerotank is a pretty decent vape, it's much better than what was available three or four years ago when I started vaping. Not to mention among the first of the regulated devices out there….the original MPV that is. What you vape doesn't matter as long as it's helping or has helped you quit smoking!!
