i want you to know that your blog is my go-to way to drown out the terrible music at my local coffeeshop, the large amount of dense and beepy videogame tunes is ideal
You don't know just how much that means for me to hear. I know uploading game music on a website like this one isn't anything unique or special, but hearing anecdotes from folks such as you makes me realize that what I do on here matters to someone. I appreciate everyone who has supported me to this day!
vardasvapors replied to your post "okay so what’s the elvish equivalent of a mid-life crisis?”
it was invented by either finrod or fingolfin and happens when u realize that one of the humans you knew since it was born just died of old age
OH NO but also oh yes that is perfect.
vardasvapors replied to your post “hot take: being blah at people for looking at really surface-level...”
yeah that’s really true, the lens on real life thing
yeah! idk ive just seen a lot of posts on my dash recently, like.... tearing into people, saying that it’s never appropriate, and while i do think there are definitely time/places where it’s super insensitive and we should keep that in mind as part of the discussion.... it rubs me the wrong way? i just, don’t think that understanding the world (even serious events in the world) through fiction (even pop fiction, even bad fiction, even fiction that’s aimed at a younger age group) is necessarily a bad thing
vardasvapors replied to your post “I had never fully understood, until things completely dried up at work...”
have u read the brothers karamazov
real talk that is my best friend’s favorite book so yes I. tried. I made it a hundred whole pages in before I was ready to kill everyone in the room and then myself
🌹
They both have the kind of nature that tires from talk and company, and by a wordless pact made when she was very small, they became each other's refuge from all the noise in Tirion.
Thank you for the ask! I clearly have too many fics about kids too
(Send me a "🌹" and I'll post one random sentence of a random WIP I'm currently writing )
YOU’RE BACK YAYYYYYY!!!
