“WELL well, look at THIS...” The Seer’s voice is honestly PLEASED as she looks at the girl, the WOLF wearing human skin.
“Sköll. We’ve not yet had the PLEASURE of meeting. ( I think? ) What a completely ( EXPECTED ) surprise.” Her smile is all teeth, all glinting FANGS, with the FORCE of her excitement.
@varghcna liked for a starter
--- Her ruin had been absolute.
Soft dawn broke over ashen waste, a village standing once where now only charred timber remained. Amidst devastation the dragon fed without restraint, greedy in her hunger; for the winter had been harsh, and prey had grown scarce. No thought was given then to the men upon whom her desolation fell, for her flames consumed all, and she would not go hungry again.
No heed was given either to the scavengers that circled the town, nor the crows that eyed her prizes with gluttonous envy --- for her power was total, her being SOVEREIGN. What had she to fear, as she plucked from the dirt corpses charred? She, who swallowed whole men without break, whose hide was iron? In fact, it was not until the arrival of the wolf that the dragon gave pause, gulping down one prize to eye the treeline warily.
...there it was --- so quiet in stride not even she could hear.
Impressive was the beast, who bore size at least twice again that of an elk. Here and there the wyrm noted smaller kin darting between the bones of the town, their own gaze drawn silent to presumed alpha. But by not a single carcass would the she-drake part --- instead jaws split defiantly to bare teeth that could cleave oxen in twain as bloody warning to the unwanted guest.
[ even as the motion was made, forewing extended softly to cover swollen belly; lest the wolf hone in on the mother-to-be. ]

MEET… MY TINY HOOVED GRANDSON…. WHO WAS BORN AT 9...
also that’s some hella dun factor on that peanut
*EYEZOOMS* ... you speak horsespeak come be my friend.
And yes! We didn’t expect it, honestly, because the dam (the love of my life) has only ever thrown silver bays, and that was still an option with the genetics of the stud we bred her to, but then OUT comes a dun factor buckskin and I’m just flabbergasted. His name is Hades! (Sire is Tango, and dam is Patti Murphy) And she had the easiest birth EVER he was out in 5 minutes and she literally pushed twice.
BABY IS SO INTRIGUING TO ME LIKE she's such a murderous wannabe and thinks she's so badass but at the same time i want to wrap her in nice things??? i cannot get en ou g h
