Distortion Meowstic: Ghost/Fire type
In my setting the Distortion Ream is treated as a sort of Hellish Realm but Giratina themself is not Evil incarnate, they are Chaos incarnate. They are defiant, anarchic, and chaotic, but not out of malice; Giratina is the antithesis of Order, Tradition and Authority, they seek to spur other pokemon question authorities, encourage pokemon to advocate for themself as individuals instead of being part of a collective, and keep the world from becoming too stagnant. Giratina also made themself the Patron Lord of all those who feel lost, marginalized groups, individuals questioning their identities, and those who choose to go against societal and traditional expectations to choose their own fate. Still, many pokemon (Particularly ones who are part of upholding Authority, Traditions, and Societal norms) have interpreted Giratina's actions as Evil, and it's not like there are not plenty of the instances where Giratina's actions haven't had destructive consequences on the mortal world.
While Giratina is not Evil, the Distortion world has become the dumping realm for punishing evil souls, which Giratina hates. They generally wants pokemon to leave them alone, so they have come up with Distortion Variant Pokemon (also known as Demon Pokemon or Feind Pokemon) to deal with the Evil Souls. However over time their purpose has become corrupted; The Distortion Realm was meant to embody Pure Chaos, but a large and expanding portion of the Realm has become the Pit of Evil which has become a Authoritarian, Bureaucratic, Caste system nightmare which Giratina hates more than anything and will frequently just attack relentlessly to beat out their frustrations
pokefusion adopts hot and fresh :D
I've opened a shop. Come take a look!
Bunnelby, the Shivering Pokemon!
Bunnelby here is based on the snowshoe hare (Lepus americanus), and is from the freezing cold Kisukis Region, which is based on Nunavut, Canada. It's also found in another region, Nuvupi, which is based on Alaska and the Aleutian Islands! More on both of these regions to come!
Togepi
Memento Pokémon
Ghost Type
They are born from discarted eggshells and are filled with a constant sense of melancholy. They are not easy to train as they're often overtaken by their emotions and need the care of an experienced trainer.
Been working on this on and off, originally the only finished one was the Alolan Ninetails cross but the client was ok with me finishing the rest and posting them!
It was once thought the Aera Region was populated solely by Shiny versions of the Shinx line, but in fact they are the Aera Variant - an Electric/Fairy type, they look almost identical to Shiny Shinx, except for the star on their tails, which are five-pointed instead of four. The Luxio and Luxray lines are sleeker, without such pronounced manes, and tend to run in small prides, streaking electricity from their paws. Some of these Shinx line Variants have also gained the Levitate ability.
Yes this is just a question for Pokémon behavior is it normal to see a water type trying to mimic a fire type because my sobble is trying to mimic my infernape’s flame charge and I’m starting to get concerned for their safety
Hmm, well... It’s uncommon, but not abnormal, I’d say. If it becomes an obsession, it can become a problem, or indicate an issue. But if they’re just mimicking it, then I’d say it’s probably fine. If you’re worried, you can always take them to the PokeCenter and get a second opinion, of course!
But if you’re worried for their safety... Well, there are a few things you could do.
Option number one is that you convince Sobble to stop, or get Infernape to not practice Flame Charge around your Sobble. This can be a bit of a rough thing to do, and doesn’t always work, but usually you can work something out.
Option number two is to let it continue, but supervise them! You can give your Sobble an Item to hold that keeps it safer from Fire Type moves, and keep potions and fire extinguishers on hand, for example! You can have a chat with both Pokemon about being safe, even.
The thing to remember is that while its rather rare, Sobble can actually learn Fire Type moves! It can be Variant related, but it is also sometimes just... Possible for them to learn. This can be because they had a Fire Type relative somewhere in the past, but it also can be completely unrelated to that.
Most Pokemon can learn all move Types, though its seldom that they will. Obvious exceptions being some Flying Type moves, though I’ve heard some ways around that for particularly determined trainers and their Pokemon. Just because its rather rare doesn’t mean its completely impossible. Fire Type Pokemon generally avoid Water Type moves due to fear, but its not impossible for them to learn! They’re just predisposed towards other Types, and so very few even have the interest to learn them. In fact, most Pokemon that are asked to learn a Move outside of what they’re comfortable with will flat out refuse, which is why so many people think its impossible.
Your Sobble very well may be able to learn Flame Charge! It’s also possible that they may learn a Water or similar Type move that mimics Flame Charge! You can prevent it, if you wanted, or you can encourage it and just make sure they’re safe. There’s benefits to each option, and I can’t tell you which choice to make. You know your Pokemon the best, after all.
But, to answer you in a tldr; Its rare, but not abnormal. As long as everyone is being safe, there’s no issue.
