S1E6 Variations Under Domestication

Alison's spy-cam reveals that her husband went out it the middle of the night and didn't return for hours. When he refuses to talk about it in the morning, she overreacts. Unfortunately, it's also the day she's hosting the neighborhood monthly potluck get together. Sarah and Felix step in to help her out. Things get somewhat difficult when Vic shows up at the party. Paul also arrives which works to Sarah's advantage. He has his own agenda however. In Minneapolis, Cosine and her new friend Delphine attend a lecture by Dr. Aldous Leekie.

‘Variations Under Domestication’ will forever be one of the best OB episodes because how on earth did they come up with the concept of torture through stationery

... torture and threats and more torture, and that’s what counts as the ‘party’ episode of this show!?  It does, though.  Allison’s party and Cosima’s and Delphine’s wine, and Sarah’s and Paul’s whiskey(?) at the end of it.  And all the songs.

Also enjoyed Cosima’s skepticism re: Dr. Leekie’s vaguely impressive-sounding but nonsensical lecture.  Such a familiar necessary thing - pity it seems like it’s not nonsense in this universe.
