SWEDISH RÅPUNK MEETS FIRST WAVE BLACK METAL/PROTO-THRASH -- WELCOME TO 1984.
PIC INFO: Spotlight on a studded up metal-punk kid from who knows where, but probably somewhere up in Northern Europe, possibly the UK. Definitely not the U.S., c. 1984 (a lot of the stuff on his wall is from '84).
Some good stuff up on the wall, too, I can make out a flyer for the '84 MDC + ANTISECT + CRUCIFIX gig (MDC couldn't make the flight, unfortunately), the "Distortion till Deafness" EP by DISORDER, the "Another Religion, Another War" (1984) LP by THE VARUKERS, a CRUCIFIX flyer from 1984, a photo of Garry Maloney in full DISCHARGE garb at an EXPLOITED gig in 1981, and that's about it.
