Yesss, griffons. By the way I found this on DA wiki:

Also, civil war in Grey Wardens does not necessarily excludes a revolution. Civil uprising is often a part of civil war, though I suppose it would made more sense if this happened during Orlesian civil war. (We had elven uprising there, I suppose humans still have some time before they grow tired of monarchy).
