Hello hello! I've not gotten that far at all I think, I'm playing on a friend's Origin account and am using her Keep save which I don't know anything about but hey, it's fun so far!

I'm playing a freakin' rad Qunari chick called Vera who I want to be sassy and sarcastic but can't bring her to do so if it might hurt someone's feelings....

I wanted her to get with Iron Bull but the first chance at a romance option wasn't what she would have said, so she instead ended up being like, "Heck yeah sex doctor sounds awesome" when he was talking about how Qunari deal with that aspect of life, not having marriages and all that. So currently she's being all buddy with him. The only new people I've brought to the team are Iron Bull and Vivienne so I might wait until I pick up everyone. I'm just gonna play things out dynamically with regards to romance and all that!

My game's quite far from the end so I can't quite discuss that with you yet. I did get the ending kinda spoiled for me when a friend was telling me about it, but I'm quite disconnected from the lore of the first two games so it doesn't really mean anything to me. Something about an ancient elven god or whatever.... I wasn't paying too much attention so I'm sure there'll still be something to surprise me!

Now, I can't leave without directing you towards my friend hikolu, who is an absolute Dragon Age fanatic, whom you might also enjoy discussing this stuff with! ᵒᴗᵒ

I recently finished rewatching BSG myself. Kara and Helo are indeed only beacon of hope and light in this show.

i KNOW RIGHT but i feel like even that little happiness we have is bittersweet because they never really said goodbye at the end of daybreak (or we just didn’t SEE them say goodbye, but who are we kidding cause i doubt kara told anyone but lee that she’s gone which makes it all the more painful but whatever) but i guess the upside is that it’s one less thing to cry about (unless you’re wired fucking backwards like me and the happier someone is on bsg the more in pain you are)

ANYWAY, yes. kara and helo and their rock solid friendship are SO SO important it’s rooted in honesty and respect and trust and this sense of camaraderie that the years of service in the fleet gave them and i love how much they support each other no matter what but won’t hesitate to call each other out on their bullshit and you know it's such a beautiful form of human love because ultimately it is so specifically human to have two people as damaged as them be able to stand by each other in this silent support through everything wow now i’m sad again
