Vasser
Baby Monster from "As You Wish Prince"
I love this little adorable monster. I have named it "Kyu".

Young Londoner Sam Breathwick continues to make an impression on tastemakers across the board with his music as Vasser. The 18 year old caught our attention last year with his first major single, a rich fluttering, restless scintillating future R&B cut named Whatever You Want. New single Little Things is another dynamic force to be reckoned with. It’s a jazzy organic spectacular whose dramatic pounding percussion and rich intricacy not only display the artist’s inspirations, which include Francis & The Lights and Jon Hopkins, but also evoke the multi-dimensional talent of post-EDM maestro Lido. Vasser’s slick and moody vocals and the jagged edge of his beats also remind me of Fyfe, but framed in a far more electronic landscape. Little Things is lifted from Vasser’s debut EP, A Telling End, coming this summer.
My oh my
Vasser
18 year old Sam Breathwick tends to leave us breathlessly melting with his enriching sonic concoctions as Vasser. He takes us to a profoundly meditative space with satin vocals, finespun percussion, and riveting downtempo electronica on new song Falling. If James Blake went more minimalist future soul and fused his music with some orchestral Lido, it might sound similar to this masterful tune. The track is one of five from Vasser’s new EP, A Telling End, available to stream on Soundcloud, here. Support the release, here.
