Do the Jellyfish pirates have a jolly roger?

I'm not sure if this is the jolly roger. I see it more of the logo of the Mayship II than a jolly roger. Adding a read more since it's a bit long

The only jolly roger skull like thing I could find were these…

The skull carpet under the table.

The skull on the back of the chair.

The skull shown on Sephy and Leap's Vastedge concept art.

(all have a similar design, excluding Leap, where the skull is in a circle with a gray outline like a porthole and instead of bones it looks more like a wrench or screw sticking out of said outline)

And this skull shown on the back of Arisugawa

While it is a typical jolly roger with no cross bone. I see it more as a roger for the animals only type of thing idk just vibes.

(even tho Goshogawara has a different skull on his eyepatch)

Or at the end, could just be the skull on their hats.

I personally like the porthole jolly roger out of the bunch

but idk if there is an official one or not, so if you want, choose the one you think is the jolly roger or just one you liked

About the archive - The files here were previously scattered across multiple websites and cloud storage services, making them difficult to acquire to those outside the small Guilty Gear archival group. I did my best to gather them all in one place. Please contact me if more files are discovered and I will add them to the archive upload on Archive.org.

The ripped mobile port files - The mobile version of Vastedge XT was only online and available to even download for around a year before the servers shut down. The two .OBB and one .APK file were ripped from the Android port of the game and are what Tillman ripped the animated assets, meshes, sounds, and textures from. A lot could not be ripped because it was stored on the game's servers. The encryption also makes ripping files from these difficult. It's possible there's more on them that was not able to be ripped.

Japanese file names - The original name of the .APK was ﾊﾟﾁｽﾛ GG_com.dtechno.slotguilty.apk and had to be renamed to be compressed into a .ZIP folder. If the file runs into errors during launch/cracking attempts, try reverting the name. Likewise, the Japanese names of the videos could not be compressed and were also translated. There is a separate .TXT file within VXT VIDEOS that includes their original Japanese file names.

Duplicate concept art images - There were two archives of the concept art. One was hosted on e-hentai by Mister Guest and contained the full, uncropped, images. The second was from a folder that Volcanic had compiled. Volcanic's files were a higher resolution, but were cropped and missing some information Mister Guest's files had. I've included them both here as well as the files from a third archive where an anonymous user on Imgur had restored the colors on the character models to match how they look in the game itself.

Neon colors on the concept art - The neon sections on these character model sheets are temporary/placeholder colors and not how they appeared within the Vastedge XT game. Their true colors can be seen in the videos within the VXT VIDEOS folder or in the FIXED COLORS folder within VXT CONCEPT ART.

Dialog transcripts - What we know of Vastedge's story came from official story summaries posted by Arc System Works on the Guilty Gear websites. The dialog is exactly that: character dialog. There may be lines missing, that are inaccurate (due to typos), or other written/spoken parts of VXT not included. It may be possible to get this missing information from the videos in VXT VIDEOS or from other VXT video sources online.

With Zappa appearing in Revelator in his Vastedge costume (although recolored), could you share any details you've managed to scrounge up that may be relevant to missing cast members like Zappa, Dizzy etc that appeared in that Pachinko game (other than the Flashing Fang stuff and Baldias maybe dying)? Felt like a lot of the fandom may miss out on things since few GG fans got the chance to play that canon game.

To basically sum up what happened:

The Conclave put a bounty on Sol’s Head because he was meddling in their affairs.

Sol turned the tables and “stole back” the Senga from Harden Fortress.

During that time, Sol and Sin had to deal with several Bounty Hunters and Enemy Gears chasing them (Jam, Bridget, and a few nameless others).

He also ran in to Millia (who was looking for Zato’s body), and coincidently met May, Johnny, Slayer, and Zappa as well (these people also picked a random fight).

Ky helped clear Sol’s name after he defeated Baldias (Bardius in VastEdge sources), and during that time Izuna and Dr. Paradigm also helped out (a little).

Fighting “That Man” was a secret bonus battle in the game, but that isn’t a canonical part of the story.

The Epilogue reveals Dizzy is now free of the seal that was placed on her by the Thunderseal (despite Paradigm saying he would help Ky free her).

**Keep in mind a lot of information in VastEdge does not jive with GG2 or GGXrd info, so it’s Gaiden, not “full canon”**

WIP of my Sol and Ky print! If their outfits look unfamiliar to you, it’s because they are their Vastedge outfits! (Though they have their XRD weapons because i couldn’t find good references T3T) And yes, Ky is missing a leg because it’s just the sketch and his leg went wrong XD
