D'mitiri is no magician, but he has his rituals.

D'mitiri could tell he and his new neighbor had much in common.

From his haystack pillar he laid shirtless amongst his flock and innocently observed her burn the midnight oil. The impressive sage who smiled bright as a campfire toiled away with the dewdrop sprites she had summoned to the water mill that she occupied. They created puffs of steam. Clouds spun them around flower stems like sugary treats for their good work. D'mitiri could lose himself in the delightful sparkle of water as it tinkled and spun. The song of the sprites soothed his frazzled nerves during these nights specifically.

Here was where their rituals aligned. Hers beamed comforting rays, and his soaked in the heat as he grieved his past mistakes.
