Danny - 5′4″

Danny is forever mad he’s the shortest and is only taller by Nova by like 1 inch. Echo & Whisper absolutely lord the inches they’ve got over him.

Nova is the strongest and can easily bench press mr. bean pole that is Barclay without any issues.

under readmore because it got long and for some reason images are huge and I cannot resize them so whoops!

-Echo won’t admit she’s a lot like her dad, refuses even, yet catch her wearing bulky layers of clothes and hiding her face a bit with sunglasses because she knows her eyes freak people out sometimes…yes even when its dark. Her eyes are silver (like her brother and dad’s) but you know its strange how they just reflect light and-mmm okay put the sunglasses back on.

-Barclay is a cryptid (and Echo’s older brother)…he was created based on the dialogue you can hear from couple raiders talking about some dude who can make noises/sounds with his mouth in fo4. He is a full on theatre nerd and takes more after his momma. Very bad at nicknames.

-Nova loves hugs! her friends! and punching! She is bound and determined to be able to lift her friends damn it! LET HER LIFT!!! She loves bright colorful things, and to keep everyone on their toes.

-Danny…shhhh he’s sleeping. He’s tired lad who never sleeps when he’s supposed to because he either A) was working on some tech or machines or whatever OR B) fucked up his circadian rhythm again

-Whisper: goth grandma! Well no, she just finds it amusing to call everyone her grandkid despite being the youngest of the five. She’s telepathic and when she’s tired of signing will poke into her friend’s heads and kindly tell them to shut the fuck up. Also has used her telepathy as a way of entertainment simply by tuning into other people’s thoughts. Quiet everyone her soaps are on!

I honestly didn’t create much last year (2019)...most of what I did was at the beginning of the year and it was taz. There are a few outliers, but I honestly can’t remember much about them... HOWEVER! Within the past few months I started and created somethings I’m pretty damn proud of!

On Top Of Sanctuary Hills And Far Away - currently 5.5k; a WIP I’m so damn proud of that I keep coming back to and work little chunks at a time with... My writing absolutely has changed and this fic feels right. It’s where my shift in writing descriptions started to be stronger. It’s the start of my series [Echoes Of You] about my oc, Echo Gray, a psyker who gets flashes of the past. The memories or echoes she sees can vary from the day the bombs dropped to hearing gunshots of a battle that happened a few days ago.

The Bird Is In the Bird Cage - wrote this bad boi while fighting sleep on a plane, then proceeded to lose the journal this fic was written in at the airport and literally the main reason why it still exists is because I got excited and took pics to show @glitchvault74. This fic? Spooky af like I love writing slightly creepy/off works no joke. (Future plans is to make it into a 3 ‘parts’, but for now its a one-shot) Summary: It’s a prompt fill using the 3 words - Eyes, Lies, & Wise. Echo’s found herself in a cave, trapped and alone. It’s dark and come to find out...maybe she isn’t as alone as she originally thought.

Grim Nights & Bleeding Hearts - currently the only thing I’ve written with Whisper and its for Tea Shop Monsters au (she’s a witch in the au), but heck I just love it. I...I like spooky things what can I say? Summary: Whisper goes to a cemetery for a much needed ingredient and meets a potential new ally. 

Scars - Arm - part 2 of Deacon and Echo hanging around each other :) I love the first part, however like, I really went ham on this one haha. I love banter and these two feel like they’ve formed an almost sibling like bond. I’m a big fan of dialogue, and I do feel as though this one showcases my affinity for it. Summary: Another day, another mission for the Railroad. And these agents forgot to bring their party hats.

Late Night Cohersion - Ngl, it was fun writing this and having X6 dunk on my asshole of an oc Danny haha. Summary: Danny hates sleeping. He’d rather stay up late. X6-88 is charged with keeping this idiot in check.

#42 Is there anything in your character’s past that they regret, haunts them, or they wish they could change?

hmmmm...

For the Vault Crew as a whole, its definitely when they were attacked and separated by Super Mutants. Echo was buried under some rubble (which be why everyone else thinks she dead) and it eats at them while they’re just...separately wandering the wastes.

Nova absolutely thinks its her fault Echo “died” (someday they’ll be reunited...). She was the one to run in to fight one of the super mutants, and well, didn’t exactly think through there being more until it was muuuch too late.

Barclay wholeheartedly believes he should’ve done something more to protect his sister. Everything happened...so fast...

Whisper hides it, but it tears her up that one of their own ‘died’ on her watch. She has telekinesis, she should’ve just...pulled Echo out of the way... Also fully believes she should’ve done more.

Danny never wants to admit that Echo’s ‘death’ hit him, but it haunts him and makes it even harder to sleep at night. Besides Barclay, Echo probably had the deepest connection (albeit not too deep but still) with Danny.

Echo kept them all together. She was sort of the glue...the referee, the empathizer, the mediator, the one who somehow managed to stay on everyone’s good side and keep this collection of psyker misfits from killing each other.

😎 Favorite article of clothing or accessory?

- Echo: While she’s 98% of the time wearing sunglasses, she absolutely adores her jackets the most. They’re comfy and warm which is very helpful since the Commonwealth gets hella cold at night, especially in the fall and winter months. She likes how the jackets also fit loosely, she doesn’t feel like she’s suffocating in clothing.

- Nova: On one hand that really boss plaid shirt she dug up from this nice caravan group few years back. Its pretty sturdy fabric, and it doesn’t accidentally set ablaze with flame right away so you KNOW its good shit. ON THE OTHER HAND, how could she disappoint the shirt that looks like a bowling alley floor threw up on it? Loud colors and fun patterns are her THING and boy howdy when she comes across them they’re hers now.

-Barclay: He loves costumes and would absolutely drag the treasure trove he found if he could, but alas... he only keeps the really hard to find out there stuff tho like: a monocle he found ages ago (it makes him feel fancy and snobbish and will absolutely get into his character), a cool ass cloak he found while digging around an old theatre (for the drama), and a blue bandanna (its his fav color and very versatile). 

-Whisper: her scarf. She enjoys scarves, 1) because they help keep her warm in the chilling months and 2) they help cover the nasty scar on her throat. She’s a bit self conscious of it sometimes and hates when people stare.

-Danny: Goggles and/or his wielding mask. He’s a technopath so, while gloves would be handy for other folks, he doesn’t like wearing them since it kinda warps his powers a bit. Goggles though have absolutely helped keep his eyes after years of working on bots. 

🍔 Favorite food? - Imma assume its this one lol

-Echo: She loves stews NoOne will cook on occasion and the noodle stand in Diamond City. Warm, hot food to counter the chill of the wind and cold af weather of Boston? Yes. Give it to her. She enjoys other people’s cooking more than her own, despite the fact that she’s a decent cook and she does cook to her own tastes, she didn’t have to make it which is why she prefers other folks cooking haha. She also likes brahmin or radstag jerky. its nonperishable and it’s filling.

-Nova: Fancy Lads, spiciest of spicy things, fried foods... she loves sweets and is an absolute fiend when it comes to eating them. As long as her food is warm, she’ll eat it.  She’s not picky, but absolutely complains when something doesn’t have enough spice/flavor to it. She’s a bit of a dump truck when it comes to eating...def has the lead belly perk. Also is slightly feral cause if her food got cold, she will warm it with her hands (pyrokinesis whatup). 

-Barclay: his sister’s cooking. It’s the taste of home.

-Whisper: baked goods. She loves breads, and pastries, and she will fight someone for the last sweet roll. She also enjoys making it with razograin and has absolutely made her own yeast culture she carries around with her. Nobody is allowed to touch it. Nobody. She earned caps for beating the gluten into dough before, and also for the baked good she makes. Only she can have samples of her own baked goods though (unless it became stale...that’s a different story).

-Danny: is it edible? Cool. He’ll eat it. He doesn’t pay attention sometimes to remember to eat, so if he’s super into a project he’ll just eat mindlessly, whatever he’s given. He did find he likes to snack on pre-war goods. Someone should seriously check his rad levels soon.

003. Does your character like coffee better, or tea?

Coffee heathens:

Danny -> drinks it and would basically thrive off of it if nobody intervenes and puts some food in front of him

Nova -> her + caffeine = nap time funny enough; but she’ll drink it with plenty of brahmin mild and dunk fancy lads in them

NoOne -> its been part of her routine for the past 200+ years. she’s an early riser and goddamn if you try and speak with her before her first cup of coffee in the morning everyone will have a bad time

Tea remedy:

Whisper -> her morning ritual involves brewing a fresh pot of herbal tea she’s personally dried and made herself and bathing in the sunlight as she slowly drinks drinks it. Its best to not disturb her until afterwords. Folks who had learned the hard way ended up with a massive migraine for the rest of the day.

Echo -> while coffee is okay...she prefers tea. She has learned a bit on how to make her own from hub flowers, carrot flowers, and several other edible plants from ghouls and Whisper.

Barclay -> listen. tea is better for the throat. coffee? not so much
