ohh vavid. OHHH VAVID YOU MAKE ME ILL.
Take my v avid HEADCANON ok?
Demon avid actually has really short claws! Why? Because he had to claw himself out of the pit trap in the crypt which made his claws wear down a lot, so now he can't really use them much when it comes to hunting, he uses his teeth/fangs more! They would grow out eventually though!
Also Pearl and Cleo were the first to find him
Though Avid did attack them because it took a while to claw himself out of that crypt (it's literal stone so it could've taken months or years) so he was very hungry :p
A clip from today's avid's vampires stream
For the v!avid and v!scott shippers
60 seconds · Clipped by Astrophel · Original video "🔴 I'm back... Vampires SMP vs YOU" by AvidMc
At some point further they talk about Pyro and stuff but it's not part of the clip
“Yeah i think i can listen to Not Right acoustic version without getting emotional, its been long enough,” Said the fool (me)
idea for an alternate context for the veinbound scott and avid vacation.
Scott and Avid are captured by these cultists in the dungeon. the cultists are trying to play these psychological games, doing disturbing things like killing people and putting scott and avid in a room with a river of blood and a flesh room and murdering people and blood dripping from the ceiling and gore and monsters and all that. then the vampires are just chill and having a great time and the cultists are losing their minds trying to figure out why they are so excited by all this. by the time the vampires just casually mention they are vampires and the cultists realize why the vampires enjoy blood. they are committed to freaking out the vampires and it just becomes a challenge to freak out the vampires by being so murderous. 🤣
vampires ep 7 spoilers
god the static Scott hears as avid tells him what he did, the way he is so consumed with rage that he can’t say anything for a couple seconds
the way he tries to go back to his normal self, but you can just tell how much he wants to snap.
THE BRIDGE SCENE WITH OWEN WHEN HE REVEALED HE JUST DIDN’T LIKE AVID???? GOD HOW PISSED THAT MUST HAVE MADE SCOTT
at the meeting, the way he kept pushing the fact that avid was just a number, just there for someone to run slower than you when you’re in trouble and how stupid it was to kill him
but avid was never just a number to him, and scott is pissed he only really understood that after he had died
Promising to kill them. The grave THE GRAVE BRO
I really hope this ends in a confrontation between Owen and scott bc GOD
A little sneak peak on my best projectttttt :3
vsmp Avid you are the character ever
i saw someone say that vAvid is the epitome of cowardice, and you know what? yeah. that tracks. he's a paranoid, terrified, grieving creature scrabbling for any surety in a world that keeps getting scarier around him. he's a wounded animal biting you, and then crying after the hand he bit. he's furious that anyone would flinch away after he bit them. why would they reject him? they must be a threat!
he demands -- begs for, expects, is desperate for -- loyalty and steadfastness from everyone except himself. the world is black and white with no shades of grey for vAvid... even within his own mind, where he's constantly vacillating back and forth between his instincts and his reason and new information and old biases. there's no gradient of change, there's just Lever On and Lever Off.
this is why he and Legundo clash so fundamentally, beyond just their differing beliefs: at his core, Legundo is a man of nuance and caution and a rock solid moral system. certainty like that is absolutely antithetical to a panicking zoetrope creature like Avid.
in a way, i think he might see the overtly dangerous as less threatening than an unknown possible good, because at least it's a certainty. he barely hesitated to ask Shelby to turn him, but it takes hours for him to be convinced that transforming into a bat isn't gag-worthy. he spends days (weeks?) convinced that vampires are the worst monsters to roam the earth, and then within a matter of hours hasn't just been turned but is wholeheartedly advocating for the extinction of humans.
(as an aside, I believe that's also a side-effect of the turning -- the whole "whoever you are when you're turned, whatever you're feeling and thinking, that's who you are as a vampire" thing. But like hypnotism, it can't make you do anything you weren't already okay with on some level.)
he never does anything by halves. it's either 100% this or 100% that, and the moment that his shaky, unreliable perception changes, he flips to the other side of the fence with the terrifying enthusiasm of a true believer. he's the stuff cult leaders dream of: a ready-made radical, just looking for direction.
but he's so desperate to protect himself that he will lash out at anyone who gets close in any way he perceives as a threat -- and his perception is like a nat1 at all times, so he's just as likely to consider a confirmed murderer safe as he is to see a threat in a hand outstretched to help.
everything -- everything -- about vAvid is motivated by fear. every single decision he makes is made in pure instinct and fear. and most of those decisions have been bad.
it makes me wonder about Elle. it makes me wonder if he was afraid of her, once she turned. it makes me wonder if she actually attacked him.
or if he just thought she did.
