Heaven's Fence is on the verge of total destruction, and that might be the best-case scenario. The Ghansgraad and its prophecy are crumbling, and the heroes of Heaven's Fence are left adrift. But the absence of prophecy means the potential to rewrite the horrible fate that God intended. Other heroes, other possibilities, other paths are finally free to manifest in a universe devoid of destinies.
