Dear Gloom, subconsciously, from our childhoods, it is very likely the case we think eating meat is essential to our lives, to makes us healthy and strong, because our parents or grandparents told us so, for example people telling us milk is strong for our bones. When this is not actually true. I find you're correct when saying we're omnivores, however meat eaters I know do not find they are omnivores originally. Meat causes diseases, so if I am 'meat shaming' there is no real wrong in that. VB

Be vegan, be vegetarian.  Be a carnivore.  Just keep it to yourself.  And don't go out of your way to justify your own choices by denigrating someone else's choices.
