Angelus did not travel often, for a variety of reasons. In the past, when the world was much less accessible for the blind and his other senses were not quite as refined as they are now, getting around was just inherently difficult. In addition, booking any sort of travel that involved payments other than cash and various declarations and paperwork was essentially impossible for him.
Of course, since putting Hektor’s family in his employ several generations ago, things had become much more manageable for him both at home and with travel. If Angelus wished to go somewhere far from home, he had a ready travel companion to assist and accompany him through the whole process, and there was someone to assist him in the more human side of owning a villa, other financial aspects of life, etc. In the beginning, the role had very much been a employer and employee type of dynamic, but after several generations and several different “caretakers,” Angelus’ viewed the mortals who had cared for him and his home as essentially his own family. To a point where, if Hektor was travelling, Angelus often used it as an excuse to travel.
Like now, when Hektor was visiting his eldest son in London. Angelus had been to London a few times over the course of his eternity, but the trips were always purposeful, usually to purchase or sell something from his collection. This trip, however, was less purposeful. After Angelus had made an appearance and visited with his “nephew,” who likely looked old enough now that the term was nigh unusable, he was free to do as he pleased. So, of course, he went off in order to experience the city. For the first part of the evening, he took a cab to Covent Garden and enjoyed listening to various buskers. Then he traveled to Hyde Park, simply sitting in a spot of nature nestled in the busy city. After, he just slowly made his way back to the flat where he had left Hektor and his son earlier, guided by the narrated walking directions from his phone, which Hektor and his children had set up for him a few years prior.
In his wanderings, he didn’t hope or expect to run into other Immortals, even if he sensed them near by throughout the afternoon and then into the evening. Some had still been sleeping, though now there seemed to be quite a few of them in one, singular location and even more seemed to be heading that way. A gathering perhaps? Angelus was, despite his age and past experiences with others of his kind, still curious about other Vampires, and what their “lives” were like.
So, what did he do?
He followed them to the location, and after some verification at the door, found himself what could only be described as a bar, only there wasn’t a human patron in the place. There was music, conversation, and from the sounds of ice hitting against glassware, some kind of beverages for patrons.
Angelus grinned. A Vampire bar! This was an interesting development, and a wonderful surprise!
Delighted, the blonde made his way over to what he assumed was the bar from the sounds of it, and asked the bartender what patrons usually ordered. Once his order was placed, he sat patiently in his seat, merely listening to those around him

I appreciate all of the messages I’ve received lately and in a way they are holding the pieces of my mind together.
But remember when I told you all how sometimes my mind is a house that locks from the outside and I’m trapped inside?
Unfortunately I’ve entered a period of time where I’m only able to look out the windows.
Perhaps the house was a good metaphor after all.
Please bare with me; I am not ignoring any of you.
I am just mercilessly trapped.
Thank you.
