now, it’s a rather well-known fact that kang hyunjin can be a little bit on the clumsy side. unfortunately for him, ignis seemed to have inherited that knack from him. for that very reason, the little yelp doesn’t surprise him, turning back to see that his litwick had indeed sprawled onto the floor, her flame flickering wildly. the little candle is already in the process of hoisting herself to her feet when hyunjin notices that this incident has not been isolated.
a panicked cry escapes his lips as he realizes that ignis had managed to set another pokemon on fire -- what the fuck -- and more panic rushes through him because he has no pokemon that can put out a fire. luckily, the fire dies out before it can really get going. it does leave behind a nasty looking burn, and he winces, glancing up at the owner. “i’m so, so sorry, ignis is really clumsy, oh god -- is... is your pokemon alright?”
