All characters have been posted, and we have set an opening day for Saturday, March 4th! We are so excited to open and release our first chapter for the roleplay, which includes a few twists and turns that will make even the sanest minds quiver. 

We will accept our first round of applications on Friday, March 3rd, and we encourage all to apply, even if you are apprehensive about your writing, or fitting into the roleplay. Both of us are going to work extremely hard to make sure that everyone feels included, and cliques have no place in this roleplay. You can follow our announcements tag here to keep up with everything that’s going on with the roleplay.

We cannot wait to read your applications, and watch you bring these wonderful characters to life. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. We are here to help, and we want to make everyone feel as welcome as possible!

We’ve only got three more characters to release for opening day, and we cannot wait for you to read them!

All characters have been reflected in the directory, and as of now we have not received any applications, but we cannot wait to read your take on all of the characters, and see what you think of the roleplay!

We’ve worked long and hard, and we are so ready to open and start the roller coaster that is New Orleans!

Now that all of the canon characters are posted, we will be accepting applications for all! We have several original characters that we would like to release, which will be done over the course of tonight and tomorrow. 

We will also be opening up applications for a co-admin soon, so keep an eye out for that!

If you have any questions, or would like a canon character that has not been posted, just let us know! We can’t wait to see what your take on the character is!

Our first batch of bios is set to be released today, and we look forward to seeing lots of applications! If you have any questions, I will be on all day to answer.

Our first acceptance will be Friday, January 27th, so don’t wait to put your application in! Here are a few tips to get you started:

Always include a second choice, even if you are confident in your portrayal of a character.

Be as detailed as possible when you fill in information about the character. We’ve already seen the show’s version, we want to see how you will play them!

Don’t hesitate to ask questions or bring up concerns if you aren’t sure about something. We are here to help, and we want to encourage all writers to apply even if you aren’t sure about your abilities.

The main may be under construction for the next few days, but we assure it will not affect any applying or viewing of characters! Be sure to follow this tag for all announcements and to keep up with what’s going on with VDM!
