There are two theories about Vecna.
1. Karen is Alice making Vecna Mike’s uncle.
2. Vecna is El’s real father.
If both are true then Milkyway are cousins

No because sometimes it randomly hits me that there’s a possibility of another plot twist where Vecna might not actually be Henry but he might actually be Peter Ballard, and for some reason Doctor Brenner has somehow messed with his memories and made him think he’s Henry Creel, even implanted childhood memories of “Henry Creel” in his head to make him think that’s who he is. Because yes, I know Netflix originally introduced him as Peter Ballard to avoid giving out spoilers that he’s “Henry Creel” / Vecna and so Peter was supposed to be a pseudo name. But there’s also a scene where the government raided Doctor Owens’s house and his wife said something about “that’s Peter’s school project” — “Peter” is the name of Owens’s son. Like… they didn’t even have to give Owens’s son a canon name if the audience never saw how he looked like, or if they never planned on introducing him in the future. And why name Henry/Vecna “Peter Ballard” if Peter’s also the name of Owens’s son and we never saw how Owens’s son looked like, only that his name was Peter. Like sure it could mean nothing and all of this is just a coincidence. But what if it means something. Why Peter Ballard? I need answers. Why why whyyyyyyy
Re: Henry creating the Mindflayer, I was under the impression that the Mindflayer’s eldritch energy was always there, but Henry gave it a physical form and allowed it to transcend its eldritch form the way it allowed Henry to transcend his human form. Theoretically, the energy could have specifically wanted and targeted Henry because he was the only one with the psionic ability and the artistic vision to give it a physical form. It could also be a symbiotic relationship, seeing as the demogorgons were already there when Henry arrived but are still part of the hive-mind and hurting them hurts Henry. Also worth noting Dustin’s comment about how Henry is the Mindflayer’s 5-star general and that Henry is s bit of an unreliable narrator.
TLDR, Henry getting a redemption arc by being freed from—or even just separating himself from the Mindflayer could be justified by current canon clues and could work in a way that made sense. (IDK if that will actually happen, but it’s not outside of the realm of possibility.
Wait, this actually makes a lot of sense. Though I’d like to point out that Dustin’s saying Vecna was like the Mind Flayer’s “5-star general” was, in my opinion, most likely because he didn’t know Vecna was the one who sent the Mind Flayer after them, or at least the one who gave it a physical form. But other than that, I 100% agree, and I can see this being the route they takes in season 5. It’d be interesting, too. Yes, I think this is by far one of my favorite theories I’ve read.
Anon, you might be onto something here!
